Hello readers! If you saw last week, I did an unhaul post. I made it a little bit more fun for myself and did the Book Unhaul Challenge. This week, I went to a used bookstore and sold some of the books, which allowed me to get a few more.
Mostly, I bought books for my future baby. I have bought WAY too many books for the baby already. I did get three new books for myself, so let’s talk about them!

I read Big Little Lies back in 2021, and I saw it’s now a series. I decided to go ahead and pick myself up a copy in anticipation of the next book coming out in August.
Big Little Lies is a mystery book that starts with a murder, and then we time-jump back a year. I think if you liked Desperate Housewives back in the 2000’s, you’d love this book. They have very similar vibes.
A few months ago, I picked up the third book in the Heroes of Olympus series because I found it on sale, and now I finally have book two as well. I previously read both books one and two, but only owned book one.
I haven’t been doing very well on it, but I was trying to read through all these Riordan books in the Percy Jackson universe. I already reread the first 5 Percy Jackson books, and I read book one in the Kane Chronicles, but my reading of these books has been on hold for a while.
I’m happy to have this one to read in the future. Now, I only have books 4 and 5 left, along with the 5 Trials of Apollo books and the two new Percy Jackson books.
Click is a graphic novel series following a young girl named Olive. In each book, she faces a different problem. In Click, she has to participate in a school talent show and, throughout the book, tries to find herself. In book two, Camp, she goes to camp with a friend and is a very social person while her friend isn’t, which causes strain in their relationship.
I started book 3, Act, recently and hope to finish it this month. Act is about a school field trip that happens for her whole grade. She sees that some kids can’t afford to do it, which causes her to want to make a big change in policy.
I saw the bookstore had Clash, and I wasn’t sure which it was in the series, but it does happen to be book four! A big win for me. This series currently has 7 books, and I rarely see them on sale anywhere.
