Hello readers! It’s time to comb through my Want to Read shelf once again. Last time we ended with 265 books and are now at 266. So, let’s get to removing some books!
START HERE if you haven’t read one of my Down the TBR Hole posts before.
If you’ve never heard of Down the TBR Hole before, you go through 5 to 10 books per post on your Want to Read shelf on Goodreads and purge all the ones you know you won’t be getting to anytime soon. If you want to see a more detailed version of how this works, check out Jody’s post. She is doing her Down the TBR Hole posts on Thursdays if you want to check those out!

The first one I have is Beautiful Villain, which I know is a vampire romance by an author who I had an ARC of it from and now own my own copy.
You guys know. I’ve mentioned this book so many times now. I promise I will read this at some point. I now have a copy of it and the 2nd book to remind me to get to it the next time I’m in the mood for a romance book.

Floating Hotel is some sort of scifi novel where people are aboard a hotel on a space ship. I also know there is a mystery of some sort. I’m not sure if it’s a murder mystery or something else.
Either way, I still really want to get to this at some point. I’m really in the mood right now for some scifi so I might pick it up soon.

This one follows a woman who is arranged to be married to someone and is on her way to meet him in Pakistan when a storm leaves her stuck at an airport where she finds someone she really likes.
The Goodreads ratings on this are so bad, but I’d still like to try it out for myself, so I’m keeping it for now.

Canto Contigo was a Wednesday Books book that came out during the boycott of St Martin’s Press. I added it to the TBR at the time because I liked the cover.
I now know it follows two guys in the same mariachi band who sort of have an awkward relationship because they almost hooked up once.
The ratings are really high on this one so I’m excited to give it a try.

Giving that this one is a Brandon Sanderson book, I’m going to keep it. It’s not at the top of the TBR because I own a few books by him already that I haven’t read. But, I’ll still get to it one day.

I thought about giving this author another try because I read a book by him in the past that I really didn’t like. But this book has really bad ratings. If his fan base doesn’t even like it, I have no chance.

I honestly have no idea what this book is or what it’s about, so I’m going to go ahead and remove it.
I don’t know if I saw it on TikTok or if I entered a giveaway for it? I’m honestly not even sure.
