Hello readers! It’s time to go back to doing my Down the TBR Hole post. My TBR on Goodreads has grown A LOT. Every time I apply for a giveaway on Goodreads, it adds the book to the Want to Read shelf.
Essentially, you go through 5 to 10 books per post (I usually do 8) on your Want to Read shelf on Goodreads and purge all the ones you know you won’t be getting to anytime soon. If you want to see a more detailed version of how this works, check out Jody’s post. She is doing her Down the TBR Hole posts on Thursdays if you want to check those out!
The last time I posted, I had 164 books on my Want to Read shelf, and now I have 246. That is a lot worse of a jump than I thought it would be, BUT that is why we are here.

This one has been on my TBR for such a long time that I forgot it existed, BUT I still want to get to it.
I think I added this when I started getting into scifi. I know it’s a scifi horror that takes place on a ship. Scifi horror is one of my favorite genres to read from, but I actually haven’t read it many times.
Now that it’s in front of me again, I’ll try to get it from the library very soon.

This is another one that I really need to get to. I even own a copy of it, so there isn’t any excuse to not have read it! I am going to try to read more big books in 2025, so this will have to be one of them.
I also want to get to her Crescent City series. I’ve only read book one and I need to catch up with it.

This book has such a pretty cover! But, I literally have no idea what it is about.
Instead of looking it up, I think I’ll go ahead and remove it. It’ll be one less book on the TBR. If it’s truly meant to be read by me, I’ll discover it again down the line.

This one follows a married couple who buy an old home to renovate into their dream home. The problem is, they didn’t know that a ton of horrible things happened in it before it was theirs and the wife becomes ennamered with finding out the truth of what happened.
I will absolutely read this one of these days. It isn’t on Libby or anything, but it might be in the future.

Malibu Rising is one that I really wanted to read when it came out, but I actually don’t have interest in it anymore. That might change one day, but I’m not sure.
I’ve read two books by this author before, but I’m really not interested in anything else she’s written. Let me know if you guys have read something by her you think I should read, though!
I liked both Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones when I read them.

I am hopefully going to get to this book either this month or next month. It’s one that I do own, so it’s more of a when than an if I’ll read it.

I do want to read this book, but it’s also the 3rd book in a series when I haven’t read the 2nd one. So, I’ll go ahead and remove it for now.

I don’t know what this one is about, which seems to be a theme in this post. But, I do know it’s a foodie romance, so I thought I’d keep it on my list.
BUT, I was looking on Goodreads and it’s YA. I am just not interested in YA as much anymore. I don’t know what it is. I still love middle grade, but I just cannot connect with YA the way I used to be able to.
