Autumn Book Haul

Hello readers! Today’s post is something I don’t do often and that is a book haul. I enjoy making these posts, I just don’t buy books frequently enough to do them more often. I have five books to go over today, so let’s just jump in!

I found both of these books in the bargain section for 3 dollars and 4 dollars. I couldn’t pass it up knowing that I’ve wanted to try them for so long.

The Nevermoor seres is about a girl named Morrigan who was born on an unlucky day. She is blamed for all the bad luck in the town she lives in and is destined to die on her 11th birthday.

One day a man named Jupiter North whisks her away to a place called Nevermoor where she will have to perform some trials to get into the Wundrous Society.

Trials are one of my absolute favorite tropes, so I’m sure to love this series!

I used to own this book many years ago, but didn’t actually read it. I even own an audiobook of it, and have yet to actually read it.

I really did not like the Mortal Instruments series, but for some reason I really want to try more by this author. I have a few authors that I want to try until I find a book I like. I’m not sure why!

I saw this one at the bookstore on sale and picked it up for the title. I almost never read Christmas-y books and barely read those at Christmas time. I have been keeping an eye out for some Christmas books to read and found this one. I am slightly peeved to find out it is a series, but it’s fine.

Matt Haig is an author I’ve wanted to try for a long time now and this is gonna be my first go at his work. I hope it is good! I have made the mistake before by going into a popular author with a book I’ve never heard of and it didn’t go well for me, so we will just have to see.

This one was on sale for 5 bucks. The tagline just got me. 1 Killer, 13 Victims. A Million Views. I just had to pick this one up and see if I liked it.

I know it’s about a girl whose mother was killed by a serial killer and she is trying to catch him all while streaming it online.

I’m hoping to read this one really soon and I hope it’s a good one because I’ve never heard of it before.
