Hello readers! It’s time to talk about what I’m reading. I’ve been pretty busy this month so far, but I managed to finish a book, and I’m reading one that has been on so many TBRs in the past.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

I finally started Black Water Sister! This book has to have been on at least 4 or 5 TBRs over the years, and I never end up getting to it.
I read the first 5 chapters last night and I’m really enjoying it so far. It follows Jessa, who moves in with her family back in Malaysia. She starts a job working for the family (for free) and also is being possessed by her dead grandmother.
It is pretty good so far. I’m just happy I’m finally getting around to this one!

I finished this one on Monday and really enjoyed it. I was surprised when I went to rate it on Goodreads and I had previously said that I didn’t really like this book. I know I said the same about book 3.
I didn’t remember this one at all, so I had a good time with it. Battle of the Labyrinth was a lot more complex than previous books.
The one thing I’ve changed my opinion on a lot is Annabeth. She is actually really annoying in this book. I’m not even saying it about her being kind of brash toward Percy, which she always has been, but in the way that she treats Percy like she owns him, but also won’t just tell him what her problem is.
I don’t remember disliking her this much in this book, but I’m interested to see how I feel about her in book 5.

I am hoping to read Belladonna next, but I am still waiting for it on Libby. If it isn’t available yet, I’ll go ahead and start The Last Olympian instead.
Do you guys commonly binge a series or put gaps between books? I was trying to always put gaps between books because I would commonly not remember the books apart from one another, but I am feeling like binging series right now.
I read This Poison Heart and the sequel at the same time and I liked doing that. I am hoping to binge Belladonna all at once if I end up enjoying it, too.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
