WWW Wednesday

Hello readers! It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for a reading update. Have you guys been reading anything good lately?

I am sort of in the place where I want to read everything in front of me, but also can’t figure out what I’m even in the mood to read.

What are you reading?

I’m only 25 pages into this one, which is still in the prologue, so I don’t have much to say yet.

This books is sort of similar to IT. It follows 4 boys when they are kids and then again as adults. But, this one has more of a paranormal twist to it.

I used to watch the movie all the time when I was a kid, so I know I’ll enjoy the book. I actually thought I had read it already, but I checked Goodreads and I hadn’t.

What Did You Read Last?

This book was so weird and I still can’t decide what I think of it. It follows a woman who starts a new job at a plant shop in a rundown mall and a sentient plant.

I didn’t really love the ending, but I also don’t know how it could’ve ended any different. I wish we got more backstory on this plant creature as well.

I like that most of the book was in it’s perspective. That was something I did not expect at all.

I am hoping to see a lot of opinions about it in the coming months because I am so intrigued to hear what other people think. I gave it a 3 because I couldn’t decide on whether I like it or not.

What will you read next?

I am hoping to tackle some of the graphic novels sitting on my TBR this month, so the next book I’ll pick up is Squished.

I randomly found this middle grade graphic novel at my local library book sale. I know it follows a girl will a lot of siblings. She wants her own space as she is getting older, but has to share her room with two much younger siblings.

It seems like it’ll be a quick and easy read and it’ll be one less book on my physical TBR.

Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
