Hello readers! It’s time for a WWW Wednesday post. I finished a book this week, so I thought I’d update you on my reading.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

When I updated on Sunday, I was reading a completely different vampire book. I started listening to Interview With the Vampire again and I just couldn’t concentrate on it.
This just happens to me when I’m trying to get back into reading. I will pick up a dozen books before I can get one to stick. I might go back to it later on.
The two books I really want to read right now are on my hold shelf on Libby, so I picked a book I own and should’ve read a long time ago because I had it as an ARC last year.
This one is a retelling of Great Gatsby and follows Daisy, who knows but hasn’t seen Jay Gatsby in nearly a decade. She notices something is very different about him and it sort of peaks her interest.
I love that this story is in Daisy’s POV as opposed to Nick’s. The one thing I don’t like is how modernized it is. It takes place in the current time and I wish it were in the same time period as the original.

I am now almost 60 pages into Notes on Infinity and I have no opinions on it either way. I have gathered that the topic of the book is going to be about mortality.
A lot of people are saying it is eerily similar to Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, which makes me want to read that book and see if it’s true.
I’m only reading about 20 pages a day, so I’ll let you guys know if I have anything helpful to say one way or the other on Sunday.

I had around 100 pages left of this for two months now and finally sat down yesterday and finished it.
This book was even better than book one. In Wundersmith, we follow Morrigan going to a magical school while struggling with being very different than other people and with discovering the truth about herself.
Next time I’m at the bookstore, I’ll be picking up the next two in the series so I can continue.

I was thinking of picking up Bat Eater next. It’s only been out a few weeks, but I keep hearing nothing but good things.
I know it’s a horror novel following a crime scene cleaner and it takes place during COVID times. I believe she is trying to solve a series of murders in a Chinatown.
Let me know if you guys have read this!
