Alli the Book Giraffe

Hello readers! I wanted to post a little TBR to get me back into reading. I was thinking of doing a readathon, but I really couldn’t find one that I wanted to do.

I can’t really say what has been keeping me from reading the last couple months, but I’m ready to try and get back into it.

One thing I think I can do to restart my love for reading is to read a scifi book. The Passengers is one of Marrs’ interconnected scifi thriller novels that I have yet to get to.

I know this one follows some people stuck inside different self driving vehicles and the passengers of the vehicles have to do certain tasks to survive.

I was spoiled a bit on this book from reading The Family Experiment, but I still would like to read this one.

A big priority would be getting back to reading through Rick Riordan’s books. I am on book 4 of the Percy Jackson series.

I bought the Kan Chronicles earlier this year, so I am thinking about trying to tandem read the last two books in this series so I can get to that one.

I’m getting an ARC of this book in the next few days and I’m going to be reading it with some other people on IG and Tiktok.

Celadon invited me to the Read Together initiative which involves reading ARCs with a group. It comes out in June, so we will be reading it over the next few weeks.

I’m really intrigued by this book because it’s from Celadon, which publishes mystery and thriller books, but this is a scifi romance.

This one is a scifi book where a woman is informed that she has a high risk of hurting someone and gets put on this watch list. They use her brain waves and dreams to determine this.

She is only supposed to be on this watch list for 21 days, but is stuck on it for months.

It honestly reminds me of the plot of Minority Report, so I think it will be really interesting to read.
