Hello readers! This week I have a tag post for you and this one I did a few years ago and decided to redo. It’s the I Love Spring Book Tag! What is your favorite season? I feel like I should say mine is spring because I was born in spring, but honestly, I like the cold weather in winter.
I originally did this post in 2023, so CLICK HERE to see my previous version! This tag was created all the way back in 2014 by Booktuber Helene Jeppesen.
How is spring where you live?
I feel like spring is always so unpredictable. This may be a symptom of just being from Indiana, but the weather is all over the place.
In the last week, we’ve had 80 degree days and 30 degree days with rain sporadically and even a tornado that touched down near my house. Again, the weather is just like that in Indiana in general.
Most anticipated book release this spring?

I did a Spring New Releases post this month where I mentioned 4 books I’m excited to get to this spring.
Out of those four, I have to say Silverborn. I am really enjoying the Nevermoor series. I don’t generally read a lot of fantasy books when it comes to middle grade, so I am surprised at how much I love this series.
I still have to read book three, but I’m still super excited to get book four and read it, too.
Show us a book cover that reminds you of spring.

Honestly the first thing that came to mind when I read this question was the Emily Wilde series. I actually think book two has the most spring vibes, but all of them do in general.
I know the covers are dark in color, which is sort of giving a autumnal vibe, but for me it’s the flowers, vines, and the mushrooms that screams spring for me.
Where are you going to read this spring?
To be honest, I am planning to spend this spring season with an audiobook in my ears while cleaning out the garage. The garage has gotten completely out of hand this past two years and we can barely walk around in there.
We also have a shed, so that will be on the list of things to clean as well. I did go out there for a bit the other day, but I need some totes to organize everything into.
Find a cover with the sun on it

This was honestly harder than I thought it’d be, but I found one. Mislaid in Parts Half-Known, which is book 9 in the Wayward Children series, and book one, Every Heart a Doorway, have a sun on the cover.
What are your favorite spring reads?
I would have to say romance book, especially the ones that are contemporary.
Find a book with many different colors on it.

This is the most colorful book I’ve read in 2025. This color scheme is actually really pretty.
This is the first book in a series following a family who are being evicted from their home right before Christmas and they try to stop the eviction. It’s actually a really wholesome book that I highly recommend, even though it takes place at Christmas and it’s March right now.
