Hello readers! It’s time for another Sunday Post. It has been another productive week for me. I don’t know what is happening to me this year, but I am being so productive when I usually struggle to do so.
I have ADHD, so motivating myself to do anything can be very challenging at times and I just feel so re-energized this year in a way I haven’t been since maybe 2019.
The Sunday Post was created by The Caffeinated Reader. In The Sunday Post, you share news each week with your audience. This can be personal, book news, blog news, or anything else you want. Click the creator’s name for more details!
Life Update:
It’s currently 1AM as I’m writing this and it’s pretty crazy to see that TikTok ban go through just a few hours ago. I did not think we would be here. I mean, things could turn around. Did anyone else see that some Canadian people have had TikTok banned on their phones, too? I am not sure why that is.
It isn’t even just about the app being banned, it’s about the fact that I do not live in a communist country, so I should be able to have whatever apps I want on my phone.
I really hope this ban turns around as well for the indie authors out there. It’s just that I know so many indie authors have created what they have through that platform. It’s something that can’t be replicated anywhere else.
I personally don’t even want to post videos anywhere else because the views, interactions, and comments are terrible. I mean, I don’t ever get hate comments on my Booktok posts, but if I upload a video to Instagram, I get men on there commenting on my weight. I have nearly 1k followers on IG, but I get 1 like per post if I’m lucky. I most likely won’t be doing any videos on another platform if TikTok doesn’t come back.
Other than that, I have spent my week doing schoolwork and reading. My new class, Microeconomics, is really difficult, but I am working through it as best as I can. I feel like it takes a week or two of being in a course to really get a feel for what the individual teacher’s expectations are and I try to adjust accordingly.
I haven’t done anything outside of the house much in the month of January, but I don’t mind. I am hoping the snow will melt this week enough for me to start going on walks. I would go in the cold, but I have no sidewalks in my neighborhood and those roads are ice. I have almost fallen so many times on the way to the bus this past week because of all the ice.

Reading Update:

Right now I am not actually reading anything. I sat down and read Family of Liars by E. Lockhart on Saturday and ended up reading the entire book.
Later on today, I am hoping to get to Beautiful Villain by Rebecca Kenney. This is an ARC that came out in July of last year that I really need to review.
And book two comes out next month, so it’d be a great time to get to it. All I know about it is that it’s a retelling of Great Gatsby, and there are vampires.
What I Watched:
This week I watched episode 100 of En O’clock. I am so happy that En O’clock is back! It’s the reality show of the kpop group Enhypen. They’ve been on break from the show since the summer of 2024, so I’m so excited to see it back in action.
I also caught up on Hell’s Kitchen this week. This season has been so crazy. People keep leaving prematurely and having breakdowns all the time. I mean, Ramsay has really calmed down the past few years, so all this chaos isn’t even because of him directly.
I also watched TWS Tours, which is a 3 episode show following TWS, pronounced like Two-us. Nothing really beats these silly kpop shows for me. I can be having a really bad day and these shows will always make me laugh (especially when it’s Enhypen).
Music:
&Team’s Deer Hunter was on my favorites of 2024 post, but it got a music video this week. I had to share it. This is a whole new side we have not seen from them and it’s been amazing.
If you don’t know, &Team are a Jpop group who have a werewolf concept. It isn’t common for us to see the werewolf concept in the music videos so blatantly.
I decided to go ahead and share &Team’s best song, Firework. This is an older song of theirs. It came out back in June of 2023 and is the collective favorite of most of their fans, including myself.
