Hello readers! It’s Blogmas day 13 and it’s time to talk about some books I’m excited to read that come out this winter.
Let me know what book you are looking forward to that comes out this winter! I am always looking for books to add to my TBR. Especially if the book is diverse in some way.
January 7
First is Adrift in Currents Clean and Clear. I’m so excited for this one! This is the 10th and final book on the Wayward Children series.
BUT, I’ve seen posts online from the author saying she is open to writing in this world again, so that would be really cool to see.
January 21
This one is an adult romance by Sonora Reyes, who wrote the Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School. I read that one back in 2023 and really loved it, so I want to read more from this author.
I also own the Luis Ortega Survival Club, so I need to get to that one this next year as well.
If I’m correct, this is Reyes’ first adult book and I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on it. I’m going to try to be MUCH better in 2025 at new releases.
February 11
This one is a YA written in verse. I added this one cos Ibi Zoboi is an author I’ve both loved and not loved books by in the past. And I want to try her newest book.
This one is magical realism in some form, which can be a hit or miss for me, but so can this author. I just hope I’ll like it.
March 4
You Killed Me First is John Marrs’ next new books. I love every book I read by him more and more.
It follows a woman who wakes up tied up in a blazing fire, then it shoots back nearly a year and we learn how she got there.
I LOVE mystery and thriller books with setups like that! One of my favorites was Big Little Lies. I love when we start with a mess and then zoom back in time to see what led us there.
