Hello readers! It’s time for WWW Wednesday. How is everyone’s reading going this month? Mine is going very well. I got myself a new diamond painting and have been listening to audiobooks while I do it.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

I have less than 100 pages left of Battle Royale. It has been a long time since starting it, but I finally am managing to get it done.
I am loving a lot about it so far. I will let you guys know in my wrap up all my thoughts because I am really interested in how it ends.
My least favorite things is that I wish we got to see more of the characters. We meet quite a few characters who die within the same chapter, and I think it could be more impactful if we knew them more.
I am so intrigued to see the ending! How many will live or will it just be Shuya? I have no idea, but I’m excited.

Okay, I am 50% through Ministry of Time. We are following a woman who is tasked with looking after a man who has been taken from the past in the 1840s. There are quite a few people like this from many different times, and they are doing some sort of experiment by bringing all of them to our timeline.
It’s interesting to see the differences between his timeline and now. It takes place in England and really has me thinking about how few historical books I’ve read that take place in other countries.
I have no idea where this story is going, but I really enjoy the story and the characters so far. I should have both this one and Battle Royale done by my update on Sunday.

The last book I finished was the last book of November. It’s the 2nd book in a cozy mystery series that I started this last month.
I am hoping to start book 3 soon, but I have SO MANY books I want to get to this December. I wish I had more time in 2024 to get all the books in that I want to in the month!

My hold just came in for Incidents Around the House from Libby, so I’ll be starting that one next. The ratings aren’t the best, but I’m still excited for it!
To be honest, the description sounds like Coraline, but an adult horror version. IDK, but I really hope it’s a good one. Like I said, the ratings aren’t the best, but honestly, I have no idea what people don’t like about it, and I’m not going to check. I just want to see for myself.

The other one I want to start next is Death by the Dozen. This one is the 3rd book in that series that I mentioned above. I am so excited to see a cat on this cover! Is the MC getting a cat? I hope so.
This is the first cozy mystery series I’ve read where the MC doesn’t have an animal companion.
In this one, the bakery enters some sort of baking competition, which is another trope I really love to see!
