Hello readers! It’s been a LONG time since I made one of these posts. I decided on Sunday I would do one if I finished a book and I did! So, here we are.
If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to, check out my Sunday Post from this week.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.

I’m currently half way through Battle Royal. Honestly, this book is really amazing. It follows 42 teens who are put on an island and have to kill one another until there is only one left.
I’m still making my way through this one and hopefully I can finish it by the end of next month. It’s so fascinating. It is both alike The Hunger Games and nothing like it at the same time.
For example, in The Hunger Games, those who are chosen don’t really know one another. The competition is also televised and sort of glorified in many ways.
In Battle Royale, this is a class of teens who are all friendly on some level. And, it’s kept secret. The only people who know about it are the parents of said children when they are notified about it. This only happens after the kids are already taken.

The book I started last night is This is Our Rainbow. It’s a book of LGBT stories aimed at young readers. I personally wanted to read this because Alex Gino is one of my favorite authors.
So far, I’ve read two of the stories and I’m enjoying it so far. The LGBT aspects, so far, have not been the main focus of the stories, but are part of them. I think it’s so important for things like this to be available for kids.
It really prevents them from feeling othered. I really love in the second story a character who is asexual. They sort of describe aesthetic attraction, but put it into different terms. I’ve always found this to be a topic so hard to describe to other people.

I finished the 5th book in the Mr. Lemoncello series. I love seeing how much this series is inspired by other authors. I feel like the author really tries to channel Roald Dahl when writing these books.
In this one, we get to know even more about the ins and outs of the factory Mr. Lemoncello runs and a bit of his backstory. There is a prequel book that I do own that gives us even more of it that I need to get to very soon.
This is such a fun kid’s series for those who love puzzles and libraries, though this one doesn’t take place in a library at all.

I currently have an arc for the last book in the Lemoncello series. It comes out on the 5th of November. I genuinely didn’t even know a 6th book was being published in this series until the publisher reached out to me.
In this one, we follow Kyle, who is the protagonist in the series, playing in a tournament to win Lemoncello’s entire business. Lemoncello doesn’t have any kids, therefore he needs a predecessor.
I’m really excited but also sad this series is coming to an end. But, I do still have the prequel I can read after it’s over.
