Hello readers! It’s Sunday again and that means it’s time to wrap up the week. How has everyone’s week gone? I hope you guys are well. I am honestly not doing well, but I’m feeling a bit better. This has been a crazy year.

Life Update:
It’s my birthday week!🎂I turn 30 on the 29th. I don’t think I’m doing anything for my birthday this year, but I do want to try this new Indian restaurant in town. I went to one for my 12th birthday and it was honestly awful. My mom and I were sitting in that restaurant being stared at by every customer and worker like they thought we were going to steal something. It was so weird.

It’s just really funny turning 30 because it’s making me think of when I turned 20. I really was having an existential crisis. I was thinking I was going to be so old not being in my teens anymore.
But, I don’t have those feelings at all about turning 30. I’m excited to see where my 30s take me!
Did you guys even know what I looked like before? I don’t think I’ve ever posted a photo of my own face on here.
I mean, I have pictures on Twitter and all, but not on my blog.
To the left is a photo of me at 20 vs 30. I feel like I equally look exactly the same and like a completely different person.

I also got this weird certificate from the government on Thursday wishing me a happy 30th birthday. I have no idea why they sent me this and I don’t know anyone who has received one before.
Has anyone here received something like this in the mail? I’m wondering if my husband is going to get one as he turns 30 next month.
My husband and I were born 18 days apart. And, I love teasing him about how I’m older than him. 😂
This last week, I told you guys that we were going to this trampoline park for a homeschool event and it went great! My child has never been shy, but she was acting shy while we were there.
After about 45 minutes of her following me around instead of the other way around, I told her to just pick a girl who looked her age and start talking to them. And, then she made some friends!
She found two girls who were sisters and hung out with them the whole time. I was honestly so suprised at how many kids were there and how broad in age they were. There were probably 40-50 kids anywhere from toddlers to high school ages.
I was so surprised to find that I dress like a mom. We were all in sweat pants and a hoodie, but I was the only one with my hair down and flip flops on.

What I Watched This Week:
Okay, who watched Quiet on Set this week?
That was a crazy show. I did know a lot about what this show covered, but there was plenty I didn’t know. For instance, I read Jeannette McCurdy’s book two years ago and that had me watching tons of Youtube videos about the topic.
I knew what people had said about Dan Schneider, and I even knew who Brian Peck was. But, none of us knew who the minor was in the story. Drake Bell?! That explains so much about him and his life as an adult.
I am still waiting on some apology letters from all 41 people who wrote a character reference for Brain Peck. And, some people said that Rider Strong and Will Friendle, who were on Boy Meet’s World, spoke up about their letters back in February.
And, what I read online was CRAZY. Rider Strong literally said that Brian Peck told them he was guilty and then they proceeded to write the letters for him. That was honestly the most baffling thing I learned this week.

HERE is the article this screenshot came from.
I’m also wondering about Brandy. I was thinking while watching Quiet on Set that Brandy died. I Googled her, asked people on Twitter, and never found anything. But, I now think that Brandy just went no contact with her mother for not protecting her from that creepy man.
On another note, I actually went to an All That concert when they went on tour in 99/00. My mom has my shirt somewhere, but I would’ve been 4 or 5 at the time, so I don’t remember it much at all. I know I got a signed photo from a woman performing there, but I can’t find it or remember her name.
It was honestly nostalgic and horrifying watching Quiet on Set. I am hoping they make more seasons in the future where they focus on other child actors who were abused like Corey Haim.
