Hello readers! It’s time for another tag post. This one centers rereading, which is something I don’t do often. But, I’m excited to do it either way.
How do you feel about rereads? I feel like most of the magic is gone from a story once I already know what happens, so I only reread if I don’t remember much of the story.
The Reread Book Tag was created by Brianna’s Books and Randomness. Make sure to check out the original post!
A Childhood Favorite You Could Reread 100 Times and Still Love

One book I have read 3 or 4 times is The Giver. I loved reading this as a kid and was so excited when they made it into a movie. I mean, this was the first utopian/dystopian book I ever read.
I went on to read book two and didn’t like it, but I do know the 4th books comes after this story and I’d love to read that one day.
A Book You DNF’d But Would Be Willing to Give Another Chance

I tried this book a few years ago now. I think I read about 100 pages, but I just wasn’t into the story much. I’d like to give it another chance one day especially because I own the book.
This has happened to me with other giant fantasy series like this and I know it’s just me. I can’t read too many fantasy books in a row or I’ll start getting overwhelmed.
A New Favorite You Would Reread

This series is the first in a long time that I decided I wanted to reread to experience it again and not just because I forgot what the books are about. This series is honestly one of my absolute favorites and this book is my favorite of 2023 by far.
A Book You Hate And Would Never Want to Read Again

I probably have less than 10 books I could put into this category, but this one was the most recent. I cannot see the appeal.
I’m kind of scared of disliking a Booktok favorite like this. I’ve considered deleting my review on GR so many times. It’s so beloved and I cannot even conceive one reason why that is.
A Classic You Read in School, but Want to Try Again

Most of the books I read in school I have read again. Whether I liked the book or not. Honestly, at around 19, I started collecting all the ones I read in school and loved, and now own some of them that I didn’t.
The only ones I can think of are greek classics that I do own, but haven’t read yet, and Antigone. I would love to reread The Illiad, The Odyssey, The Aeneid (of which I own), Antigone.
Antigone is one of Oedipus’ children and was such a great book.
An Author You Would Reread Anything From
I would say Stephen King. His books are what got me into reading and I know I could reread any of his books and still enjoy them. I stopped reading his books for two years or so and got back into in 2023.
I’m afraid of reading all his books as I’ve always been aware that he is nearly 50 years older than me and will stop publishing long before the end of my life.
A Series You Want to Reread For the Fun of It

I started rereading this series in January 2023 and I’d love to keep going! I read this series 10 years ago now and was the first romance series I ever got into. And, the thing is, it was totally by accident.
I saw a lot of people reading Frost’s book Once Burned on Goodreads book clubs and just picked it up when I saw it at Walmart. I haven’t even finished that series, which is connected to this one. I’d love to read that one again as well.
A Series You Want to Reread For An Adaptation

I don’t know when this is becoming a movie or TV show, but I will probably reread it before seeing it. It was announced back in 2021 that it will be adapted and I can’t find anything else about it.
A Book You’ve Read, but Want to Listen to the Audiobook

I have become a big fan of graphic audio and I know this book has been adapted through them. They make these dramatized audiobooks and I really, really love them.
I have also bee reading Jeaniene Frosts books through graphic audio. The first time I read those, it was on my Kindle.
