Hello readers! It’s time for a Top Ten Tuesday. This one was a freebie, so I went back and looked at all the previous topics. Back in 2018, one of them centered Christmas movies and I could help but choose it. I love Christmas movies so much and have quite a few favorites, so let’s get into it!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, you pick your top 10 of the topic provided.

It’s a Wonderful Life is a very old but still amazing movie. It follows a man named George Bailey who is down on his luck. Nothing for his is going right, so he decides to jump off a bridge.
He is met with an angel who teaches him what the world would be like if he didn’t exist. He had helped so many people, even in childhood, who wouldn’t be where they are today without him.
Seriously, go watch this movie if you haven’t yet. It is really long, but worth it.

I was OBSESSED with this movie as a kid. I even had a poster of The Grinch in my room. I just love a good grumpy character who can’t understand why others are just so happy. It’s like a non-romance version of the grumpy sunshine trope.

I could watch this movie a million more times and never get tired of it. I love seeing non-traditional families showcased, the romance, the comedy, and everything else was amazing.
When it comes down to it, this movie centers the importance of the spirit of Christmas. Christmas is about all the people you love and spending time with them. Sometimes, you end up with a family you didn’t plan on having and that’s okay.

I went into this movie not really knowing what to expect and why is it so good? This movie follows Santa who is dropping off presents as normal when he learns the kid he is dropping off gifts for is in danger. He then proceeds to kill all the bad guys to save her and her family.
Christmas horror movies are honestly so underrated and this one stood out to me. Has anyone seen that Grinch one yet? I have not, but I really want to.

Yet another classic. I actually read this book a few years ago and it was nowhere near as good as the movie. They added so much.
This is a great movie centering friendship. We don’t get enough of those anymore. Everything is a romance these days.

Is it a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? I saw both. Can you believe this movie came out thirty years ago this year? Not many movies have stood the test of time like this one.
Has anyone read the Sally book? I read it last year after Christmas and it was surprisingly good. We get to see what was behind all the others doors and learn the backstory of Sally.

There was a reference not only to Indiana in this movie, but the town I live in! When Ralphie says, “The line waiting to see Santa Claus stretched all the way back to Terre Haute. And I was at the end of it.” I live in Terre Haute.
I have always wanted to visit the house in this movie. It’s in Ohio and although I love on the side of Indiana closer to Illinois, it wouldn’t be that far to go.

Ok, but have you guys seen this movie? It’s a comedy that centering three friends who always hang out on Christmas Eve, but this is the last year they can. They vow to make it the best one possible and a bunch of bad things happen in the process.
There are so many good Christmas comedies, but I had to choose this one.

There are a lot of different version of A Christmas Carol and the Muppets one is the best. First of all, Michael Caine. Nuff said.
Even though this movie was full of Muppets, it felt like they were just normal characters in the story.
What is your favorite Christmas movie? I’d love to know!
