Alli the Book Giraffe

Hello readers! Last time I talked about 15 series that I started this year and here is 15 more. I might do another one of these later in the month if I really need to, but I really hope this is it.

This is the first book in the Structural Duet. Book 2 comes out a few days before the end of 2023. I might try to read it by the end of the year or make it my first read of 2024.

It would be a great to start 2024 with finishing a series, of course.

This is a why choose romance about a woman who gets into a relationship with a man she had a one night stand with a year before and his boyfriend. I’m not the biggest fan of reading BDSM, but I like these characters and want to see where it goes.

The Prevalent Notion series is a trilogy of rockstar romances. They all follow members of a band. I received the last book in this series as an ARC and it was the one I didn’t like. Theo, the member whose romance is in the last book, was the reason for the third act break up in every single book and I didn’t enjoy following him one bit.

However, I liked the rest of the series and characters, and would like to read more from this author in the future, as long as Theo isn’t in the books.

The Monstrous Deals series are stand alone monster romances following human women who work for the Monstrous Deals company. They can do any sort of favors for mosnters for money.

I think I like every book less than the previous one, but I’m still in it for the long haul. I have one on my Kindle that just came out that I still need to read, but I have read 4 of the books that are out already.

Monster romances are something I like, but I don’t love to delve into too much as they get a bit weird for me. But, they are usually very good and spicy.

The is the Black Dagger Brotherhood prequel. Although it came first, I don’t think it was meant to be read first. There was a lot of language that I didn’t understand. But, I’m still excited to delve into this series much more in 2024 when I have the chance.

It is really long and still ongoing, so it will be a while before I am anywhere near caught up.

It reminds me a lot of my very first spicy paranormal romance series that I read, which was Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost. I LOVE that series and need to finish it at some point as well.

The Immortal Warriors series is 6 books. I don’t know if it is done or not. The first book takes place at Christmas and follows a woman who accidently meets Jack Frost. He then follows her around everywhere and romance ensues.

I need to get caught up on everything from this author. She is honestly a new favorite author of mine and wrote my favorite book of 2023. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

This series is a why choose monster romance following a human woman, a male siren and mothman. I think there will be more love interests later on as well.

I just don’t know if I will read more of it. The spicy scenes with Mothman were a bit too weird for me. I am kind of interested in seeing where it goes, but also not sure if I’m interested enough. We will just have to see.

This is another new favorite author of mine. I ARC read both of the books in this series. They are paranormal romances. The first one follows a male witch and a sucubbus and the second book follows their son and a human woman.

All her books are amazing and so are these. She has another book (not in this series) coming out in a few days and I will be making sure I get to it before the end of the year as it is a Christmas romance.

This book took me a while to get into, but it had the impact. It is very slow paced and isn’t a happy story. It’s grimdark with a bit of romance gone wrong.

The end was jaw dropping, but if you go into this seires, know it is very dark. Everything bad that can happen to Eleanor does. It sort of reminds me of Game of Thrones, but we are only following one person.

Remotely Love follows two people who work at an online company together. They both work from home and really love each other’s company.

They want to just take a chance and see if they can make it work. It was very unique as I haven’t read a romance before that took place over video chats. I recommend tandem reading these if you do.

This is a dark academia book with assassin’s and lots of spice. I joined this author’s street team recently and it’s making me want to reread it.

She honestly has such amazing writing and characters. And there are quite a few. Please check out this author if you haven’t yet! She has another book coming out on the 12th that I’m reading right now and lots more to come in 2024.

I read 2 books in this series this year and I am hoping to finish it early in 2024. I didn’t enjoy book one, but I liked book 2 a lot and am interested in the romance I know is going to be in book 3.

This one is an action packed, why choose spicy romance. It follows a NB, plus size witch who is promised to be married to the future king. Then, his brother comes and claims them instead.

Lots of spice, action, and banter. Enemies to lovers in more than one relationship. It’s honestly amazing and I can’t wait to read book two, but I have no clue when that is coming.

The Legends of Coralia series follows Collette. She is Queen and many people, mostly men, have an issue with it.

I have no idea when book two is coming, but I know they just started writing book 4. I’ve become friendly with one of the authors and I honestly love watching both of them. If you follow one, you have to follow the other. I mean, they banter back and forth so much, it’s honestly hilarious.

Dreamland Billionares was a series I did not expect to love so much. I just finished book three and it ended perfectly. Honestly, my favorite was book two. Book one is a grumpy sunshine romance, book two is a fake marriage, and book three is both second chance and forced proximity.

Her series Lakefront Billionares started this year and is connected to this one. I am reading that as soon as I can.

This series follow two best friends were kidnapped to be trafficked in Mexico and these two mafia bosses of Skulls, who are brothers, rescue them. They don’t believe in trafficking and will rescue anyone their nemesis mafia kidnaps if they come into their territory.

They are short, fast paced, spicy, and full of characters with big personalities. The two best friends and the brothers end up in romances.
