Hello readers! I’m finally back from my break. I’m feeling quite refreshed after having a week off. It just makes me feel so much more motivated to write posts and interact with everyone when I get a week off here and there.
If you don’t know, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Taking On a World of Words where you share what you have read recently, are currently reading, and will read next. You can do this EVERY week, or as often as you like.
On a bad note, my husband has COVID. We both had it last year in March, were vaccinated this year in spring, yet he still has it again. We just started seeing gamily again and going to church and it really bit us in the butt.

I am 75% through Well of Asencion and I hope to finish it tomorrow. I randomly picked this one up during my break because I was craving a fantasy.
I really didn’t care for The Final Empire, but I LOVE The Well of Asension. It’s like I want to finish it, but also never want it to end. I am going to have a good size review for this up on my Goodreads soon. Most of what I have to say would be spoilery for The Final Empire and I don’t want to assume my readers have read it.
I have a few more books that really want to get to this month, but after those, I hope I can start Hero of Ages within August, too. I need to know what happens in the end.

I took a BIG risk reading this one. I kept hearing people talk about it and saying that non-scifi readers would love it, and I did! I am not a fan of robots, aliens, settings in space, etc. However, I loved following Murderbot.
Murderbot is a cyborg, who has been hacked, so they have the ability to feel emotions and things like that. I was researching whether Murderbot is supposed to be symbolic of a person with autism, and they aren’t. However, I felt Murderbot was SOOO relatable and I can’t wait to read more of this series.
I do recommend this series for those of you who are like me and don’t enjoy scifi books. I just love when books take things I hate in books and do them in a way where I like them.

Out of the 3 books I really want to get to by the end of the month, I thought the one without any fantasy elements would be best after Well of Ascension. If I read too much fantasy at once, I will go into a slump.
I know this is a literary fiction about a girl whose sister has been killed in a car accident and how that event effects her family. I’m ready to feel all the feelings and see how I feel about this one.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
