Hello readers and movie lovers! When I think of Disney, I think of nostalgia. I have so many fond memories of watching and rewatching the movies as a kid.
As you guys may know, I met my boyfriend Jimmy, who goes by AmpedHero online, in September 2025. One of the things we bonded about early on was our love of Disney and Disney movies.
This will be a new series here on my blog where I, Alli the Book Giraffe, and my boyfriend, AmpedHero, watch every Disney animated movie in order, including the early anthologies and short films.
Who We Are
If you are new here, I am Alli the Book Giraffe🦒. I am a book blogger and lover of stories. I have been blogging for nearly 6 years.
AmpedHero🦖is a YouTuber who mostly creates content centered on video games. In his most recent series on YouTube, he is playing through every game with a physical release on Xbox 360. He also runs a Facebook fan page for Halo called Halo Hub. He will also be launching a blog here on WordPress very soon!
What We’re Doing
Together, we’ll be diving into the entirety of Disney animated movies in order, starting with Skeleton Dance and continuing all the way to the most recent releases. Some of these films we’ve loved for years, and others we might be seeing for the very first time.
We are both excited to dive in! Not only to see what stands the test of time, but to experience them together for the first time.
Our goal is to publish at least two posts per month, reviewing each movie. We’ll also be creating video versions on YouTube, so you can watch along with us visually if you prefer. Occasionally, we’ll make extra posts ranking movies from specific eras or sharing themed Disney lists.
I’m especially looking forward to watching each movie on DVD whenever possible, so we can explore extra features and share our thoughts on those too. There are over 100 movies! We currently own about 30 of them.
