Hello readers! It’s time for another Sunday Post. You may have noticed I missed a Blogmas post, but I did have a reason. I’ll be trying to make it up this week by posting tomorrow as well.
The Sunday Post was created by The Caffeinated Reader. In The Sunday Post, you share news each week with your audience. This can be personal, book news, blog news, or anything else you want. Click the creator’s name for more details!
Life Update|
These past two weeks, I haven’t been up to much. I finished the current term for college. This was the last week, but I finished it the week before to get a bigger break. I really needed the break.
I am taking Global Dimensions in Business and Intermediate Accounting II. Intermediate Accounting I wasn’t too hard, so I think this next term will be pretty smooth sailing.
Other than that, I have been reading a lot and playing video games. At first, I was replaying a childhood favorite of mine, being Jak and Daxter. I loved this game so much when I was a kid. It occurred to me this time playing that I only ever played 50% of the entire game. It was just really hard, so I wasn’t able to get past that point.
My cousins and I would all take turns playing this game, switching each time we died. I remember being stuck on the canyon for so many years! This time, it was much easier.
THEN, I started playing the Spyro franchise. I had a demo of the game on PS2 when I was a kid, but I never played the actual games. I am having a lot of fun with this one, and my boyfriend wants me to try Crash Bandicoot next.
He has been staying over at my house most nights, so his PS5 is here all day for me to spend my time on.
This week, I skipped a Blogmas post, but it was because I had a tooth extraction on Thursday. I was going to go ahead and still write Friday’s post on Thursday, but I was too tired. I also slept all day on Friday.
I am doing really well so far, though. Just about tired of not being able to eat anything, but that should be over soon.
I was so nervous! I am 31-years-old and have never had any sort of surgery before. I had some fillings done earlier this year, and it was the first time I had done any sort of anaesthesia.
I also had a gift exchange with my family. We did a Secret Santa, which was fun. It was much bigger than last year. Probably around 30 of us total were exchanging gifts. We started it last year because it just wasn’t plausible to buy gifts for so many people, but the number of us participating probably doubled from last year.
I ended up getting a sparkly tumbler and a gift card for Dunkin. I had an idea for this year where we filled out a paper with our names on it, plus a few things we liked, which made this whole thing so much easier. I got one of my teen cousin’s boyfriends, so having that information was VERY helpful.

Upcoming This Week|
I’m going to go ahead and tell you guys what will be coming up in the next few weeks. Tuesday, I will be telling you my favorite songs of 2025. Wednesday will be winter new releases I am looking forward to.
After Christmas, I will have a book haul of what I got for Christmas and what I’ve bought this month as well. I’ve been to the bookstore TWICE this month. That will probably be on Saturday.
Next Monday, I’ll have a January TBR, and New Year’s Eve will be my updated physical TBR will New Year’s Day bringing the New Year’s Book Tag. I’ve done that tag on January 1st every year for the past 3 or 4 years now.
📚 What I’m Reading|

At the moment, I have about 100 pages left in Killers of a Certain Age, and I just started my reread of Amari and the Night Brothers.
I am enjoying both books. Killers of a Certain Age is completely different from what I thought it was, but I’m still enjoying it so far.
📺 What I’ve Watched|
I honestly haven’t watched anything but YouTube this past two weeks, but we are going to go see Zootopia 2 on Tuesday!
🎧 What I’m Listening To|
Genuinley this is &Team’s best song since Firework. For both Back to Life and Firework, every time I hear it is like the first time. So addicting to listen to!
My favorite group (Enhypen) have new music coming in the new year, so I am also VERY excited for that.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
