Alli the Book Giraffe

Hello readers! It’s time to talk about series. Specifically series I have finished in 2024 and 2025. I usually do this post every for Blogmas, but I skipped it in 2024 Blogmas. I just didn’t finish enough series last year to make a whole post for.

I actually had two more I thought were finished, but once I looked, I saw they are not.

2024

The Torn Loyalties Duet was one I was an ARC reader for. I think I ARC read both books in the series.

It’s a mystery romance duology following two people who used to be married to one another. The FMC loses her memory and they fall for each other again, all while eventually revealing what happened between them.

I actually really enjoyed these books. Indie authors deserve so much more hype than they get!

2025

The last Mr Lemoncello book came out in 2024, and I had an ARC of it, but I didn’t get to it until 2025. I was so excited when I was offered that ARC. I’ve been reading this series since there was only one book in it.

I still have the prequel to read, but I did finish the main storyline. I’m so excited for the prequel and for his newest series that started in 2025.

This series is for people who love libraries and puzzles. It mentions a ton of other middle grade books and has puzzles to solve along with the characters.

This Poison Heart was a duology that I both loved and didn’t. Book one was amazing. It’s one of my favorites of the year. The first book really showed me the I can love YA books still.

However, Book to really let me down mostly because of the pacing. I feel like the second book either needed to be longer or it should have just been a Trilogy. It felt like we were rushing to the end without really explaining anything. Which is crazy because book one was not rushed at all.

I will definitely be checking out more from Kalynn Bayron in the future as I have read and liked her thriller book as well. I haven’t heard a lot of good things about Cinderella is Dead, but I am open to trying it still, and she has a 2025 release I can check out.
