Hello readers! It’s time for a Sunday Post. It’s been about a month since I wrote one of these. I have been a little busy this month, so I haven’t posted as much in general.
The Sunday Post was created by The Caffeinated Reader. In The Sunday Post, you share news each week with your audience. This can be personal, book news, blog news, or anything else you want. Click the creator’s name for more details!
Life Update|

The last time I updated you guys my daughter was about to start 7th grade. This month she has started and is doing well in all but social studies at the moment.
This year, most classes are allowing her to redo assignments if she wants to, so I have been taking advantage of that. I have been using Parent Square to message teachers so I can support in any way I can.
She also got into 21st Century Scholars! I am really happy about that. I mentioned last time that I started a 529 plan for her. My current goal is to get it to 5k before she turns 18 and I am also thinking about opening a custodial account for her, too.
She joined Chess Club and is planning to try for student council this next month. I am really excited to see her trying so many things! She has a chess tournament coming in October for chess club that I can’t wait to go to. And, I found out when meeting her teachers that she is now in advanced choir, and may be going all over Indiana this school year to compete with other schools.
My daughter also went to her first birthday party this weekend! She has been to partys, but hasn’t been invited to one by someone at school before. It was something I noticed last year, but I never said anything to her.
I finished a term at school. I had three finals across the two classes and they were rough. I had my finals week the same week that my daughter started school. But, I made it through.
I am starting a new term this week and will probably start tonight so I’m ahead a bit. I’ll be in Business Law and Cost Accounting this term.
After this term, I’ll officially be at SNHU for a year! Credit-wise, I am a junior now. I didn’t make it to the 3.7 GPA that I wanted, but I am at 3.668.
I tried to make a habit of reading 50 pages a day, but the finals week riuned it for me. I want to restart trying this next month when everything isn’t quite so hectic.

My daughter made brownies this week. She hasn’t baked anything before by herself, and I think she did a good job. She looked at me and said she thought there was going to be chocolate chips in the brownie batter, and I told her we can add some, so she sprinkled them on at the end.
I’ve had a good month, even if it was pretty busy. I moved this giant cabinet in the house yesterday that was 6 feet tall and nearly 5 feet wide. I spent the summer exercising doing push ups and squats and it really paid off today.
On the Blog Last Week|
Tuesday – Celebrating My 5th Blogiversary!
Friday – LTB: Audiobooks
Upcoming This Week|
This week, I have a tag post planned on Thursday and a Autumn New releases post on Tuesday.
📚 What I’m Reading|

I am still reading From BLood and Ash. I do really like it a lot, but I haven’t had a lot of time to read this month.
I am hoping to get around to reading it this next week if I have time. I have a lot of reading for my business law class, but I’m sure I can find a balance.
📺 What I’ve Watched|
This past month I haven’t watched any shows. I am really excited for Alice in Borderland season 3 in September. I have mostly been watching Rhett and Link. I don’t know why, but I haven’t watched them before this year.
🎧 What I’m Listening To|
I have no idea what this song is called because the title is in Japanese, but I have really been loving it lately. I like Number_I a lot. They have sort of a rock/hip hop style sound. I feel like it’s not something I come across a lot.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
