Hello readers! It’s time to comb through my Goodreads Want to Read shelf again. Last time, we ended with 249 books and this time we are starting with two more at 251.
START HERE if you haven’t read one of my Down the TBR Hole posts before.
If you’ve never heard of Down the TBR Hole before, you go through 5 to 10 books per post on your Want to Read shelf on Goodreads and purge all the ones you know you won’t be getting to anytime soon. If you want to see a more detailed version of how this works, check out Jody’s post. She is doing her Down the TBR Hole posts on Thursdays if you want to check those out!

This one is a novella by Sophie Kinsella, which is one of my favorite authors. I haven’t read anything by her in a while, though.
From what I’ve read online, this book was inspired by her life. Kinsella was diagnosed with brain cancer and this story is intertwined with that portion of her real life.

I ARC read the first book in this series before it came out and I really want to get around to the sequel.
I can’t even fully explain book one, King of Bastards. It’s a fantasy book following Wolfsbane, who is betrothed to this Solar Prince.
Have you ever read a book and just can’t describe it? Like, could you explain what Game of Thrones is about to someone who has never read or watched it? It’s sort of like that for me.
There was just so much happening all at once. I really enjoyed it and it’s nice to see that the author has new art on the cover of book one, too.

This one is a middle grade Christmas book I am super excited to get to. Honestly, I am really excited to start getting to Christmas books. When is too soon? A few years ago, I started in August.
I have so many good ones on my TBR this year that I can’t wait to try! Let me know your favorite book that takes place at Christmas (or in December).
I haven’t read a book by Eoin Colfer since I was a kid. I have been thinking about going back to the Artemis Fowl series for a while. If I like this one, I might do that.
I just learned his name is pronounced Owen when I’ve thought my whole life it’s Ian. 😂

All I know about this one is that it’s middle grade and it’s also horror.
It follows a boy moving to a new town where everything is just a little bit too perfect. They have self-driving vehicles and even controlled weather.
This honestly sounds very similar to the movie The Lorax. Where everything is perfect and once the kid starts asking questions, things go wrong. Except there are zombies mixed in.
I am actually thinking about reading this very soon because it just sounds a little unhinged and I like that most of the time.

I added all of these on the same day, so I am assuming I was on a giveaway kick or something because I don’t know what any of them are about. Some of these books are even picture books. My daughter is out of that age group, so I don’t know what I was thinking.

Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
