Hello readers! It’s time for another Down the TBR Hole post. Last time we ended on 258 books on my Goodreads Want to Read shelf and are starting with 263.
I just looked back at the first one I did all the way back in March of 2024, and I originally started with 160 books! I don’t know how I have increased by 100 without even realizing.
This round will be full of books that I entered for giveaways. I did this a lot in 2024, and is probably the reason my TBR grew so much in the past year. If I don’t remember them or don’t care to read them, I will just be removing them.

This one is a fantasy romance novella that I meant to get to in 2024 and just didn’t. I still want to read it and try this author.
I’ve only heard good things about Nghi Vo as an author, so I’d love to give at least one of her books at try.
I am not sure if I want to read this one or not. It is sticking out to me because it’s a Christmas romance. I love Christmas books! I didn’t get around to it in 2025 as I wasn’t reading much, but in 2023, I started reading Christmas books in August.
I am a big Christmas person and I have been slowly thinking of what I’ll read for the months leading up to it in 2025. Let me know your favorite Christmas book! Or any book that centers a holiday in December! I’d love to read those, too.
I am so glad I am out of the giveaway phase. I probably entered nearly 100 giveaways on Goodreads in 2024. I did win a book! But was it worth all that effort? Not really.
The next post of this series will also have a large purge of giveaway books, but I am hoping we are almost past this.
