Hello readers! Since I made that post recently about the books I’ve hauled over the years, it brought something to my attention. It made me think about all the books I have unread that were never mentioned in book hauls because I’ve had them longer than I’ve had this blog.
Let’s go over the 21 books I’ve had for 5 years or more. That is insane to even say. I started my blog all the way back in August of 2020. I’m not 100% sure how long I’ve had all of them, but I’ll try my best to remember.

The Haters is one I’ve owned for such a long time and have been considering unhauling lately. I am just not interested in it anymore.
I know it’s a road trip book about three people who leave some sort of camp and start a band together. I’ve enjoyed Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by this author and liked it, but that was more than 10 years ago now.
Should I unhaul this one? I haven’t really heard good or bad things about it.

I know I bought these in either 2018 or 2019 because I bought them at Half Price Books which was near the town I lived in before I moved to my current house in 2020.
I bought the entire series all at once, read the first two books, and just haven’t gotten around to reading more. I do want to finish it and I really hope to in the next year or so.

I know this book is about a person who goes on a mission to kill Hitler. I bought it so long ago that I have no interest in it anymore, and honestly might just unhaul it.
There may be an unhaul post coming soon because I have some others ones I’ve been meaning to get rid of for a while as well.

Eye of the World is the first book in the Wheel of Time series and I have just been waiting for the perfect time to start it.
This series is 15 books, I think. It’s pretty long and the books are huge. I will eventually get around to picking it up one of these days, I just don’t know when that will be.

I’ve been collecting Stephen King books since I was 12. I still don’t have them all, but I have around 50 or so total. I did unhaul a bunch a few years ago that were mass market paperbacks, so I used to have even more.
Usually, my mom will buy me the newest book f0r Christmas, or I’ll pick up SK books from yar sales or when they are on sale at the library or something.

I am actually surprised I’ve owned these books this long.
I usually buy random books by her and then I’ll read them, then buy more. So, it’s been five years since I bought a book by Kinsella.
I did finish her Shopaholic series in 2022, and just haven’t picked a book up by her since then.

A Feast for Crows is one I bought back in probably 2013 or 2014 when it was on sale with book one. I have read book one, and have since bought book two.
It’s been something like 15 years since this author wrote a book in this series, so I currently have zero motivation to pick it up. I will read it one day IF he ever writes another book in the series.

The Words of Radiance is the 2nd book in the Stormlight Archive. I read book one in 2020. I do want to read this, it just isn’t high on my priority list as far as Sanderson books go.
I would ideally like to read all his books including this series, but there are so many I want to read more than this one.

Filth is one I bought because I really loved the movie. I recently started reading it.
I had started it before and really struggled with the transliteration in it. But I’m trying to charge through it this time.
I am considering getting an audiobook or something to help because I really want to read it.
It follows a corrupt cop who has really poor decision making skills and is generally a horrible person.
Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
