July TBR & Tarot Readathon

July 2025 To Be Read

Hello readers! It’s time for my July TBR. I am really excited to be doing a readathon. I think this can really get me back into reading in the way I’ve been wanting for a while now.

I just find readathon to be so motivating. And this one is a team based one, so that makes it even better.

This readathon is hosted by a lot of different Booktubers. I’ll be linking Daijah’s Book World and all the other hosts are linked under her video.

There are four teams based on the suits of the tarot deck, and I decided to go with wands. You get to pick how many prompts you do, so I’m going to go with 4. If I read through those, I’ll add more later in the month.

The tarot deck I have is called the Everyday Tarot, which I bought from Books A Million a few years ago.

two of swords

Two of Swords: Read a book featuring multiple POVs.

I know I still have two books to go in the Percy Jackson series to reread, but I really want to start The Kane Chronicles this month.

This book centers Egyptian mythology and I don’t believe has any overlapping characters in the Percy Jackson series.

Moon card

Moon: Read a book that explore the supernatural/paranormal.

I know this one follows Jessamyn, who is possessed by an ancestor of hers, so this one should fit the prompt for sure.

Knight of Wands

Knight of Wands: Read a book set in a different time period or world than our own.

Hollowpox is the third book in the Nevermoor series. I finished book two in May and have been really wanting to dive back into this world.

It takes place in Nevermoor, so it’s completely different world than my own.

King of Wands

King of Wands: Read a book with the “chosen one” trope.

The series I think of when I think of the chosen one trope is Percy Jackson. There is a lot of that in this series because of different prophecies features in the books.

PLUS I really want to get to finishing my reread of this series that I started earlier this year.

Happy blogging and bookish adventures! 📚🦒✨
