Alli the Book Giraffe

Hello readers! I thought I’d go ahead and make a monthly TBR because I have been actively reading again. I just thought I’d let you guys know what I have at the top of my TBR at the moment.

I made a small TBR a few weeks ago and I still plan to read those books as soon as they come in from Libby.

Court of the Vampire Queen is a why choose vampire book that I’ve had on my physical shelves for over a year now.

I am not really sure if I’ll end up liking this or not, but I’d like to at least try it to find out.

I’ve read quite a bit by this author in the past and have both really enjoyed and not enjoyed books by her, so I think this one will decide if I will be quitting this author or not in the future.

The June Buzzword this month is memory words in the title, so I’ve picked Memory Police. I’ve been thinking about reading this for a while now.

I’m not fully sure what it is about, but I know it takes place on an island and there is some sort of program that can make every single person collectively forget things.

The next prompt the Buzzword cover is celestial. So, I decided to pick a Rebecca F Kenney book. I really missed reading her books so much!

I know this is a Peter Pan retelling and there are monsters in Neverland in it. I’n excited to give this one a try!

I’ve put this book on my TBR so many times and I’m going to either finally read it this time or unhaul it.

I really want to get through my physical TBR this year and now that I’m getting out of my reading slump, I want to dive right back into that challenge.

This one is a horror novel that is inspired by Little Shop of Horrors. As soon as I heard that, I knew I had to give it a try.

Its set in an old mall where the MC named Shell gets a job at a flower shop where there is a carnivorous plant.

This book might end up being a little silly, but I think it’ll still be a good time.
