Hello readers! I thought I could share with you my most read authors. I made a post like this back in 2022, so I thought I could update it. I know for sure my #1 will be the same, but some others may have changed around a little bit.
I did the top 5 last time, but let’s go ahead and show my top 10!
Who is your most read author?
I am surprised how many of these authors are not even favorites of mine. I have just happened to read so many of their books through series or something.

Tite Kubo – 37 books
I have read 37 books in the Bleach manga series, which isn’t even all of it! Tite Kubo has been my most read author since I was a teenager.
I hope to actually finish this series one day because it is my favorite one. I mean, I’ve finished the anime, just not the manga. There are over 70 total, so maybe one day I’ll get around to finishing it.

34 Books – Stephen King / Richard Bachman
I am actually shocked how close Stephen King is to taking over as my most read of all time. I read Lisey’s Story by Stephen King when I was 12 and that made me the reader I am today.
I don’t read his books as often anymore, so that is why it is so shocking. Let’s see if he is my most read when I do this post again in a few years.

24 books – P.C. Cast
An author I started reading as a teen is P.C. Cast with the House of Night series. I haven’t read a book by her in quite a few years now and I am actually afraid to.
The House of Night was one of my favorite series and is the perfect example of why I really don’t like to reread books. I am afraid I wouldn’t like it as an adult. I have some of the continuation series, being the House of Night Otherworld series, but I am so scared to read it. What if I hate it? I can’t handle ruining the nostalgia here.

21 books – Lemony Snicket / Daniel Handler
Next up is Lemony Snicket, who has also written under the name Daniel Handler. I sort of retired this author. Unless he writes something related to the Series of Unfortunate Events again, I probably won’t pick up another book by him.
The books I’ve read under the name Daniel Handler have not been ones I’ve enjoyed at all.

20 books – Shannon Waters
Shannon Waters wrote the graphic novel series Lumberjanes. I read this a few years ago now.
It’s this middle grade series that follows 5 girls at a summer camp. It also has some fantasy elements to it and it such a quick and fun series.
I really wish the art style stayed the same. It was so nice in the beginning and kept changing, sometimes within the same book. I really don’t like that, but the story was amazing.

19 books – Jeff Kinney
I have read 16 Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and all three of the Rowley Jefferson books. I love this series. I have been reading it since I was in middle school and I am going to keep reading it as long as he keeps writing them.
It’s even more fun now that I have a child who is 11 because she loves these books, too.

17 Books – Masashi Kishimoto
Next is Masashi Kishimoto who wrote the Naruto series. I’ve only read 15 books in the Naruto series, but I have finished the whole anime plus (most) of Naruto Shippuden. I really have to finish that anime in 2025. I started watching Naruto like 18 years ago now.
I’ve also read the beginning of the Boruto manga, but I haven’t watched it at all. I really am behind on this one.

16 Books – Jeaniene Frost
Jeaniene Frost writes a lot of different vampire books. I accidently found this author in 2012 when I picked up Once Burned when I saw it all over Goodreads. Do you guys remember when the only place to hear about new books was Goodreads? I’m sure there were book bloggers back then, but I didn’t know about that yet.
This is such a good series. It has a badass main character, a good balance of smut, and vampires. I still miss vampires being the trend like it was back then.

14 Books – Sophie Kinsella
I picked up The Undomestic Goddess back in 2016 and realized that I can like romance (outside of vampires.) This was just a cute romance where a woman who is a lawyer is fired and becomes a maid.
This author also wrote the Shopaholic series.
I highly recommend her books if you like romances that are not spicy at all. I like both types personally.

14 Books – Darren Shan
That last one I have is Darren Shan. I’ve read all twelve Cirque Du Freak books, Zom-B, and the first Demonata book. I haven’t like anything by him outside of Cirque Du Freak, but I would like to try something else by him one day.
