Life Update:
This week has been pretty boring. I’ve been doing my college and reading quite a bit. I FINALLY finished Battle Royale!!! I am so happy to say that. It was amazing, to be honest.

I’ve also been doing my diamond painting I bought myself of the starry night painting with a cat in front. I saw a Lego set of the Starry Night painting that I really wanted to get, but it was like 130 dollars!
I’ve finally decorated my home for Christmas. It took too long, to be honest. We usually get it done in one day, but it took 3 days this time.
I usually love Christmas, but this year has been so rough that I honestly haven’t been in the mood for it. I want to be, but I can’t. I know I’ll feel much better for 2025 Christmas.
This upcoming week, I have to write a 7 page paper for one class and 4 for another, my daughter has a choir concert, and we have a big brother big sister party to attend.
My daughter finally had her first hangout with the big this last week! It’s been kind of rough cos it’s December and everyone is busy right now. All they did was go out to eat so they could get to know each other a little more. But, they are hoping to do a lot more next month when the holidays are over.
This woman has a boyfriend, a job, and goes to college on top of it being the holiday season, so I get that she is very busy right now.

Reading Update:

Right now I’m reading two books. Honestly, I haven’t really been reading this one much. I am interested in this, but for some reason it isn’t calling me back to it.
I don’t know exactly what it is, but maybe I’ll know by the time I update you the next time.

This one is so good. I’ve been listening to this one for a few days and I’m loving it. I thought it was like an adult version of Coraline, but it’s more like that plus Poltergeist. It’s actually such a creepy book!
This one follows a little girl who has been seeing this being who she calls Other Mommy for a few years now. Other Mommy used to just live in her closet, but has been coming outside of the bedroom more and more. She wants to possess out main character Bela.
The only thing I hate is the actual Mom character. She is INSUFFERABLE. But I’m really enjoying this one. It’s so weird because most the Goodreads reviews have said this book isn’t scary, but I think this is one of the scariest books I’ve read.
And the audiobook is even creepier because the narration voice is that of a child. I would love to know if any of you have read this and what you thought about it!
What I Watched:
This week I’ve been watching the new season of Great Food Truck race. I have been just catching up on shows I’ve missed this year from not having Hulu or MAX.
Other than that, I’ve been binging Keiths Eats the Menu on YouTube. I used to watch the Try Guys a lot, but kind of fell out of it until recently when Ateez made an appearance on the show. And now I’ve been catching up on all the ones I’ve missed over the past two years or so.
