Hello readers! It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for a Sunday Post. I hope everyone had a good week and Thanksgiving, if you’re American. Did anyone go Black Friday shopping? I used to when I lived in a small town because the stores wouldn’t be super packed.

Life Update:

You know, this was a busy week. Not only that, but a weird Thanksgiving. It’s the first time since 2020 that we didn’t have it in our own house.

10 years ago was my first Thanksgiving without my dad and it was always the holiday I spent with him and his dad. So, this is such a special holiday for me. But, it’s also the first year without my husband.

I ended up making my double layer pineapple upside down cake, the ham roll ups I make, and like 50 deviled eggs for the get together.

The ham roll ups I make are just made of slice ham and cream cheese. My dad’s dad would make those for Thanksgiving every year, and he passed in 2020.

We ended up going to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving and I had a good time there. I’ll be going this next week to see her daughter in a parade because she won a local beauty pageant.

Reading Update:

I finally managed to get an audiobook of this one to help me make my way through Battle Royale. I have read a few more chapters this month, but I’m still having trouble focusing on physically reading books.

It’s so much better when I can listen and read at the same time! And the book is getting really good now that I’m half way through.

Tonight, I will probably be starting Ministry of Time as well. I’m really loving scifi books right now, so I have a good feeling about this one. I think it’ll win the Goodreads Choice Awards, too, because it has the most ratings.

What I’ve Watched:

This week I’ve been on Hulu catching up on Hell’s Kitchen. I only watched half of the 22nd season back when we had it before and I will be watching season 23 next.
