Hello readers! It’s Sunday. I didn’t post a Sunday Post last week because I literally forgot. I usually write it Saturday night and I was busy, so I forgot to even write it until Sunday night.
I didn’t do a WWW Wednesday either. But, that was because I hadn’t started anything new. Don’t worry! I am not back in a slump, just busy doing other things. I started something new on Friday, so I’ll probably have one up next week.
The Sunday Post was created by The Caffeinated Reader. In The Sunday Post, you share news each week with your audience. This can be personal, book news, blog news, or anything else you want. Click the creator’s name for more details!
Life Update:
I’ve been pretty busy these last two weeks, but that just comes with this time of year. This last week I did a big cleaning of the house. We wanted to clean before bringing in Christmas stuff, but we ended up not even bringing Christmas decorations in just yet.
We went last Saturday to my aunts house to decorate cookies and just hang out. I didn’t bake or decorate any, but my daughter did. I can’t even give you guys a photo cos she immediately ate them, lol. It’s okay though because she enjoyed it, a lot.

I also went to the library on Sunday and Christmas shopping Monday. I got my daughter some fun stuff. I bought her a big box set of the first 12 books in the Warriors series. It was on sale for 50 bucks, so I couldn’t pass it up.
I know this series existed when I was a kid, but I never read it. However, my daughter is OBSESSED with animals and just loves this series. She has some of the dog warriors series, but none of the cats one yet. There are weirdly also bear ones? I want to get her all the books, but there are literally 80 in the whole series so that’s going to take me a while.
I am not done with Christmas shopping because we are doing secret Santa, but for the most part, I’ve got everything I need.
A while back I signed my daughter up for Big Brother Big Sister and she finally had a match this week! They were supposed to meet about a month ago, but we all had COVID.
They are going to have their first meet with just the two of them this upcoming week. She was talking about them baking together and doing a little book club, so I hope they have a great time.
Someone shot (bb gun) the window out of my brother in law’s car (he still lives with us). We have no idea who did it, but we are looking into it.
Other than that, I am at the half way point of this round of schooling. This college does 8 week classes 6 times a year, so you only do two classes at a time. It isn’t too bad! I did have a hiccup in my English class, but it’s been fixed.
Oh! I forgot, I also made my wheel for my TBR. It isn’t perfect, but it works! I made a little vlog of putting it together, but the video wont be out until next month.
I thought about buying a wheel, but making one would be much cheaper. And I managed to get it to spin while on my wall. I bought a tripod to film it with, so it’s on for January! I will post my TBR here with a link to the video, so you guys can watch it, too.
I’m also working hard on my Blogmas posts. I know the best way to do Blogmas successfully is to pre-write a bunch of stuff. I’m going to drop a pic at the bottom of my plans for Blogmas if your interested!
On the Blog Last Week:
Monday – Is Reading Political?
Thursday – Autumn Book Tag
Upcoming This Week:
I have a Down the TBR Hole post for Monday, most likely a WWW Wednesday this week, the I Dare You Book Tag on Thursday, and my December TBR on Friday with some readathons attatched.
Reading Update:

I haven’t read a food centered cozy mystery in such a long time, so I found a new one to try. I want to try that Pumpkin Spice one that is on the Goodreads Choice Awards, but I have to wait for my hold to come in.
This one has more than 10 books in the series, so it may be a bad idea to start, but I am having fun so far.
What I’ve Watched:
This week I got MAX, Hulu, and Disney. There is this bundle for like 17 dollars for all three. So, I’m catching up on Baking Championships. I first watched the new season of Summer Baking Championship and now I’m making my way through Spring Baking Championship before I watch this year’s season of Holiday Baking Championship.
I also started The Stranger on Netflix, which is one of those Harlan Cohen shows. This one is very different from the other two, but it’s still pretty good. They are all thrillers with so many twists. I need to try this man’s books at some point!
A Look into Blogmas:
For the most part, this is set in stone, but I do have two days with nothing. But, I’ll think of something before those days come for sure. Let me know if there is anything you’d like to see me do for Blogmas!
