End of Year TBR

Hello readers and happy Halloween!

I thought it be fun to do a TBR for the end of 2024. I currently have COVID, so I won’t be leaving the house any time soon. All I can do is read and do my schooling. It has hit me pretty hard, so I don’t have much energy to get out of bed.

All of these books are just ones that are on the top of my TBR and I hope I can get to them before the end of the year. I am finally getting back into reading, so my priority list is growing and growing.

I’m going to go ahead and skip the books I’m currently reading because I’ve already mentioned them this week in other posts.

Let me know what is on the top of your TBR! I haven’t read a single book in 2024 that actually came out this year, so I’m a bit out of the loop right now.

Malice is one that I’ve owned for probably 4 or so years. I am thinking of making a goal for 2025 where I can read some of those books I’ve owned for years and years. And, this would be a great place to start.

All I really know about this is that it’s a high fantasy book where some sort of war took place many years before the books started and it may be starting back up again.

I’m not really sure what I’m in the mood for right now, but I love a good scifi book that centers AI and/or robots.

This one follows a robot who was created basically to be a wife for this man. At first, it goes really well. Until, she starts to gain a bit of sentience and realize she may not want this life.

Robot related books are usually a guaranteed high rating from me, so I’m excited to read this one!

Seems how I am planning to finish off the Lemoncello series, I might as well read the prequel. I do happen to own the book, so that’ll also be another book off my TBR, too.

Reading middle grade books has also helped me baby step my way back into reading, so I know they’ll always be a good decision for me to go for.

I got The Luis Ortega Survival Club last year for Christmas and I’d love to get to it by the end of the year. I know it follows a group of people who come together after being victimized by the same boy at their school.

This is the same author as the Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School, and I really, really loved that one. So, I feel like I’ll love this one, too.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to read a book with such a heavy topic right now, but I’m willing to give it a try! I haven’t read a literary fiction style book since summer of 2023.

  1. Sorry you are unwell. I hope you feel better soon. Most of my tbr for the rest of the year is Christmas books and I can’t wait to get started!
