Life Update:

This week I really have been feeling better. I am ready to get back into things the way I was before this year.

I finally went back to Booktok and everyone has been so welcoming. I’ve almost been on there a year now and I’m ready to get back into it and reading in general. I’m hoping I can work my way to 10k this year. I was really close to 2k followers at the end of the year, but lost around 200 during my break.

I really got the wind knocked out of my sails in 2024, but I am going to overcome it all. All I have left now is to finally get a job. Which I have been working on. I’m still studying bookkeeping, but I’m also applying for different jobs.

I’m mentally in a place I haven’t been in a long time. I am hesitant about it all, though. Every time I think I’m on the up and up, something bad happens. But, I really am hoping that phase is over in my life.

We put up this fake fence and it has been AMAZING. I can take all the dogs out at one time and they get to run around. As a result, I have been going outside a ton. I don’t really do that as I sunburn very easily.

Our lillies came in this week! These come back every year. We have more that are purple, and I’ll tell you the story behind those once they come in.

I also applied to a few new jobs this week because I still haven’t taken my exam again for my bookkeeping course. I feel like I can fully feel like I have a new normal once I get a job.

What I Watched:

I have mostly been watching tik tok this week, but I’m also still watching Hell’s Kitchen. I’m telling you guys, once I get a job, I’m going to start a show with a real plot.

I’d also love to get Hulu and finish Naruto. My husband and I got past episode 300 last year and suddenly quit watching it.

I’d also love to finish Sailor Moon. I never really watched it as a kid, but wanted to get into it as an adult. So, I watched season one and we haven’t had Hulu since November.

I also want to rewatch all the Cheetah Girls movies. I love kid’s movies and I haven’t watched any in a long time. I know there is a new movie from last year called Wish that I’d love to see. Also, Inside Out 2 comes out next month! I am so excited for that one.
