Hello readers! It’s time to go over my Want to Read shelf on Goodreads again. I am really enjoying going through the reasons I am or am not keeping a book with you.
If you missed the first two, or the other times I’ve done this and you need to catch up, CLICK HERE.
Essentially, you go through 5 to 10 books per post on your Want to Read shelf on Goodreads and purge all the ones you know you won’t be getting to anytime soon. If you want to see a more detailed version of how this works, check out Jody’s post. She is doing her Down the TBR Hole posts on Thursdays if you want to check those out!
Last time we ended with 163 books on my Want to Read Shelf and that is still where it stands. I just realized that I did’t remove even one book the last round, but let’s see what happens today!

This is yet another book that I don’t know if I’ll ever read. I read The House on the Cerulean Sea by Klune and just didn’t love it as much as so many people did.
And, nothing about it really made me want to go back to his work. I’m going to remove this one for now and we will see if it ever comes back to my list.

I am not taking this book off any time soon, unless I end up reading it. This is one of those series where I only have the one book left and just need to read it.
This series is one that centers games and libraries, and is so fun to read. I just need to read the it.

This is another one that I own. I know it centers some sort of game involving a scavenger hunt. And, I even saw that you can do a scavenger hunt on the website. I need to try it!
On the site, you can hide and find books all over the world, sort of like a bookish version of Geocache.

So many books that I own this week! Well, technically this one is on my daughter’s shelf, but I want to read it. I know its a book centering food and follows two girls, one is Pakistani and the other is Jewish.
This book is about two girls with vastly different cultures who find friendship through food.

You guessed it, I also own this book. I received this one for Christmas this last year and honestly am really excited to read it!
I’ve wanted to read it since before it came out and reading The Dos and Donuts of Love just made me more excited for it. So, it isn’t going anywhere for now.

I read this author’s debut so long ago and I have since added all her books to my TBR, but I never read them.
I just think it’s because they are historical fiction, and those are hard to sell for me. Because of that, I’m going to remove this one for now.

This is one I have recently aquired and is on my daughter’s bookshelf. It follows a jewish girl who is a chimney sweep and her golem.
In Jewish culture, there is this lore about golems that can come alive and protect them. I saw an episode of Supernatural about it, so I don’t know a TON about them.
Either way, I really want to get to this book when I start reading again.

All I remember about this book is that it follows a woman who is accidentally possessed by an ancestor of hers.
I am kind of 50/50 with this one. Will I read it? I don’t know. But, I’m going to keep it for now. Next time, it is getting taken off my list.
I’m just thinking that all these books have been on my Goodreads TBR for over 3 years. Will I read them if I haven’t already? Only time will tell.
