Hello readers! Spring is almost here and that means it’s time to talk about some books I cannot wait to read that are coming out soon. There are only 6 books on my list currently, but that just means it will be easier to get to them.
What book are you most anticipating this spring?

March 19
This one takes place on a hotel ship that is very mysterious. It’s a cozy mystery with a scifi setting. Honestly, the title had me fully intrigued.
You guys know that I really don’t usually read or enjoy books that take place in space or on ships, but this one sounds like something I could really enjoy.

This one follows a robot woman named Annie Bot and her owner Doug. She is going through life trying to please Doug in every way while also attempting to become more human.
As she attempts to be more human, the relationship with Doug becomes more complicated for her, and she realizes that she has her own wants and needs.
I love scifi that centers AI and robots and could not have added this one faster to my Goodreads Want to Read shelf once I heard of it.

This one follows Amerie who starts fake dating this guy she meets at a coffee shop after spilling her coffee all over him.
They end up making a deal. She will play his fake girlfriend to his overbearing family while she will get to live with him rent free so she can put all her money toward her small business.

Unhappy Camper is a middle grade by same the author of Measuring Up. I have mentioned that book to you guys a few time and it’ll be in my middle grade graphic novel recommendations later this week.
This one is also a middle grade graphic novel and follows two sisters going to summer camp. This camp centers their Taiwanese culture, and one is happy about it while the other isn’t.
It just follows these two sisters, who could not be more different. They don’t see their heritage in the same light. One enjoys being unique and the other just wants to blend in.

This is John Marrs’ newest book following a world where no one can really afford to have kids anymore along with the problem of overpopulation.
For a monthly fee, people can have a virtual child which they can access via a VR headset.
It follows ten couples who are doing this experiment and are being filmed for TV to see if this could actually end up working out.
I don’t know, I just LOVE John Marrs’ scifi books. He writes like scifi thrillers. Very Black Mirror-esque. And, there are always twists you will never see coming.

Although I read a book by this author before that I didn’t really love, I am super excited to try Horror Movie.
This one is about this movie that became a cult classic 30 years before getting a remake. There is only one cast member that is still living and he plans to help them with this remake.
BUT, paranormal and mysterious things start happening along with the what happened in the past coming to light.
