Another Stolen Content Update

Hello readers! It’s time for another, and (HOPEFULLY) the very last, stolen content update. I thought I’d go ahead and let you know what happened with TECH4SN, who was stealing so many blogger’s content.

Linkedin got back to me with both my reports and the posts were taken down from there. Did I tell you guys about the Linkedin content? I’m not sure if I did. He had two of my posts on Linkedin stating he was a graphic designer. I commented on his post and said that my thumbnails were made my me in Canva. I would love to have professionally made thumbnails, but I don’t have that at this time.

A lot has happened this week with this situation. My content was taken down from the website on Saturday, but I wasn’t fully satisfied. There were still 11,400 other book blogger posts over there. And, I continued to share my post and update on Twitter in hopes of gaining some attention to it.

And the, it happened! I got on Twitter a few days ago and I had 30 notifications, which is a lot for me. My Twitter post ended up getting about 2k views because other people were seeing and sharing it. I told some people exactly who to contact, along with some seeing my post breaking it down, and they did.

I don’t know how many, but other bloggers were contacting Hostinger about their posts being stolen on this site as well.

Then, I got on Twitter this morning to check my notifications and someone said the website is gone AND it is! We did it!!! I am so happy to see that everyone has their stolen content taken down.

I am going to keep an eye out for TECH4SN over the next few months and make sure his site does not pop up again somewhere else with out content on there. And, I’ll let everyone know if I find anything out!

  1. 🤔 It is not a nice thing to have your work stolen (I know what it is like because I had my articles stolen numerous times).

Once you file a DMCA takedown request, things should work in your favour.

  3. What a fantastic result. It’s great to know that persistance does pay off as the internet sometimes seems so faceless.

    1. So true. I really felt helpless in the beginning and the result couldn’t have been better!

  4. I just got an email from the host site telling me that all 62 of my posts were gone from the site! Now, the drudge to get them off of the Google search engines. Thanks for the heads up on this one, since I wouldn’t have known that they were there if it wasn’t for you!

    1. It’s no problem! I’m just happy that everyone helped to get the site removed. Only getting my content off there just didn’t feel right.

      1. Of course! We can’t be selfish when we see these things. So pointing them out to others who might be similar victims was the right thing to do, and we appreciate it very much.
