Hello readers! It’s Tuesday again and this time we only have one post. This one centers romance books, which is perfect as tomorrow is Valentines Day!
What are you guys doing for Valentines Day? My 6th anniversary is also this week, so I am hoping it is super special. If you are single, do you do anything special? Once when I was a teen, my friends and I had an Anti-Valentines Day party because we were all single. I actually met my next boyfriend at that party. 🤣
Below are 6 of my favorite romance books. I tried my best to make them as different as possible to show something for just about everyone, but let me know if y’all would like to see more, maybe broken down by trope or something?
Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by That’s What I’m Talking About. Each week there is a prompt to talk about. If you would like to participate, you need to fill out this Google Form, and the prompts will be sent to your email bimonthly.

Well, I have to mention the first romance series I ever got into. The Night Huntress series follows a half-vampire woman named Cat, who spends her life killing vampires due to her mother’s hatred of them.
She goes to bars, gets picked up by said vampires, and then will kill them. Once she leaves with a vampire named Bones, who thinks she is an assassin sent by another vampire. He then, kidnaps her.
So, it’s spicy, forced proximity, only one bed, mostly set in a cave, and really good. There are now like 10 books and I have read most of them. If you like vampire romance, definitely pick this one up!

Okay, I love all of Kinsella’s books, but Undomestic Goddess was my first. It follows a lawyer whose entire career is ruined by a mistake that she makes.
Once she is fired from her firm, she realizes she doesn’t have any life outside of being a lawyer, and kind of has a mid-life crisis.
She takes a train to nowhere, walks up to this families house to ask for directions, and ends up with a job as their live in maid. And, romances ensues between her and their gardener.
This was such a cute romance! And, the plot of the book (involving her old life) has an unexpected twist. If you like romances that are NOT spicy, check out Sophie Kinsella’s books!

This may be the wrong time to mention this one as it’s a Christmas romance, but it really was so good.
It follows two people who end up renting a car together once their flight gets cancelled. They don’t actually know one another, they just both need to get to the same place before Christmas.
He is going home for Christmas and she is looking to find her ex boyfriend. These two do not really get along, a real grumpy sunshine moment, which is my absolute favorite trope.
This was one of those feet kicking romances with drama at the end end that you will not expect. As a matter of fact, I audibly gasped.

The Fine Print follows one of three brothers who is in line to get his portion of the family business, Dreamland. He has to do this big project to gain his inheritance and in the process is stuck working with Zahra, a true manic pixie, Disney adult. Another grumpy sunshine book, actually. I honestly found Zahra kind of unbearable, but she does grow on you, I promise.
Book two is a fake marriage and book three is 2nd chance, forced proximity, and sort of a friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. But, every page is worth it with this one!

Travers is possibly the most underrated indie author I have ever read. This book has less than 100 ratings and I don’t even know why.
It follows two lawyers who are on opposite ends of a deal and end up renting out the same house together. This book is so, so amazing. It’s a bit of a slow burn, forced proximity, rivals to lovers, a very strong FMC, with some of the best banter I have read.
I loved the tension between these two characters and how it explored some really dark themes, but stayed pretty light. It has a little bit of BDSM as well where the woman is the dominate one, which I don’t see often at all. The only problem I have is that everyone is sleeping on this author. PLEASE try her books! They are on Kindle Unlimited.

Space For Love is an alien romance between a human woman and an alien. They both live on this space station and fall for one another, but she doesn’t know his identity.
I love that this FMC is not only plus size, but she is not just the kind of plus size where she is curvy. She has a bit of a tummy and isn’t ashamed or shamed for it. This is something you will only really notice I guess if you are also a plus size woman, but most of our representation is plus size women who are curvy in all the right places, and most of us don’t look like that.
This romance is also very sweet, and super awkward. I love that Antoinette shows awkward moments in her romances. And, I cannot wait to read book two in this series!
