Hello readers! It’s time for another book tag. And, this one is themed around A Christmas Carol, which is truly an amazing classic. My daughter is reading it right now for homeschool. By the time this post comes out, she should be close to finishing it.
The Christmas Carol Book Tag was created by Booktuber Lauren Wade.
Ghost of Christmas Past – A book that was a childhood fave

I didn’t read much as a kid, but I did have to maintain a certain number of AR points each week. So, I would always read Nate the Great. I chose these books because they were so tiny and I actually had to read to to get my one AR point.
Ghost of Christmas Present – A recent book that you think will become one of your all time favorites

As you may have guessed, I had to pick A Court of Sugar and Spice. I think about this book all the time. I love the entire series, but this first one is just the absolute best.
I love how colorful the world is, but it’s also very violent and full of fae. It’s a perfect balance of everything.
Ghost of Christmas Future – A book coming out next year that you’re most excited about

I have so many, but one of my most anticipated ones is What Feasts At Night. I loved book one so much and I know this one will be so good as well.
The first book was short, but plently impactful. It didn’t feel too short, which I am super picky about. I had no clue it would be a series at the time and I was psyched to see that it was.
Bah, Humbug! – A book that everyone else loves that you just can’t stand

I just don’t get what people see in Divine Rivals. I was so confused from beginning to end. Not only in the romance, but also in the world.
The romance was rivals to lovers and it just felt so random when it switched to lovers. Also, I didn’t understand what the world looked like or why they were really at war for these gods.
Bob Cratchit – An old dependable that you always recommend

I always feel like Amari and the Night Brothers is a safe recommendation for just about anyone. So, I will always say that.
What isn’t to love about this series? It’s supernatural, magical, and seriously good.
Tiny Tim – An underhyped book that you think deserves more love

Talia Hibbert isn’t an underhyped author, but this book is! It’s a really short romance book with a plus size MMC. I just love it! It’s also forced proximity and brother’s best friend.
Today? Why It’s Christmas Day! – What’s a book that always gets you in the mood for Christmas?
A Christmas Carol of course! This year I read a retelling of it by Rebecca F Kenney. It’s a genderbent one with spice, but it’s still amazing.
Muppet Christmas Carol – Your favorite book to film adaptation
I always say The Giver is the best adaptation. It is one of the truest adaptations. They didn’t try to change a bunch of stuff for absolutely no reason at all and that is why it’s so good.
Oh, another one is The Duff. I read this book after I watched the movie and I can say the movie was so good and the book wasn’t. I really disliked the book. The movie, however, was so funny and the ending was changed. It really made the story better. That ‘eat a dick’ ‘I’m full’ line has me laughing to this day.
