Hello readers! It’s time to talk about the series I finished this year. I managed to get 6 done and four were ones I started this year. This list will be much longer next year as I hope to significantly slash the number of ongoing series I have.
As you may have noticed from the title, I’ve done this 5 times before. In 2022, I made the previous 5 and will be doing one every December going forward. CLICK HERE to see my previous 5 posts.
How long does it usually take you to finish a series? I try to do it within a year IF all the books are out, but that doesn’t always happen. I have to finish more series in 2024 because I started so many this year. But, I did manage to finish a few.

Although Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors, The Family Upstairs was never one of my favorite books by her. However, I did give it 4 stars. It was a good book.
HOWEVER, she published a sequel that was not needed and I really hated it. I would say The Family Remains is the worst book I’ve read by Jewell.
Sure, The Family Upstairs left us with some unanswered questions. I would’ve rather been left that way. I would say more, but it is about the sequel and I don’t want to spoil it. If you are interested in Jewell, go for Then She Was Gone or The Night She Disappeared instead!

The Mindf ck series was truly so food. I recommend reading it all at once. It feels like 5 short parts of one bigger story. The whole series is about 500-600 pages.
This seires follows Lana, a female serial killer out for revenge on those who destroyed her fathers life and killed her brother. The other POV (and love interest) is an FBI profiler.
This series was so good! It’s also very sad and violent. Just keep that in mind if you read it. If you are looking for an intro into Dark Romance that is short, a little spicy, and emotionally devastating, try this series!

I FINALLY finished this series. I am not gonna lie, I DNF’d this last book. I have owned this series for over 10 years and started it back in 2019, I think. I am so happy to not have it looming over me anymore!

The Prevalent Notion trilogy are rockstar romances following three bandmates. I really enjoyed books one and two, but once we made it to Theo’s book, I wasn’t excited. I do want to read more from this author in the future as long as Theo isn’t in it.
He is responsible for the 3rd act break up in every book, including his own. I couldn’t stand him at all. However, all the other characters were great.

This was a two book series following two people who fall for each other over video. They both work online at the same company and we follow them from beginning to them finally meeting and after that.

I feel like I am mentioning this series left and right this month.
The last series I have finished this year is Dreamland Billionares. I started it earlier this year because I thought it would be high on the GCA list and I was very right. All the books are HUGE, so I knew I had to start it early.
I don’t regret reading this series one bit. It was a really good romance with plenty of shade at Disney and a bit of drama mixed in. I loved it from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read all her other books.
