Halloween Song Book Tag

Hello readers! It’s time for another tag. I had to do at least one this month that was Halloween centered. What are y’all doing for Halloween this year? I think we are going to hand out candy. I tried it once in 2017 and I even make goodie bags and no one came to my house! However, I am now in a neighborhood that is very popular for trick or treating, so I know that won’t happen here.

This tag was created by Booktuber A Beautiful Chaos of Books, whose video no longer exists.

I would say any of those romance books that have more smut than plot get me every time. I sat down to read 5 chapters of this last month and read the whole book.

Say what you want about books like this, but I think they are so addictive and light reads.

The Woman in the Window was the first thriller I ever read. This book STRESSED me out. I was sure I would never read another thriller after this. However, I ended up reading more after.

I only read about 20 chapters of this book, but I cannot stop thinking about it. Reading this book assuming it was a romance was the worst. This book is promoted too much and the content of it isn’t mentioned enough at all.

It’s not CNC and it’s not dub con! I just wish I could get back the time I spent reading it.

I do not really read books with witches in them, so I found one I read this year with a wizard. This one follows a man who has gone into another dimension where he also is given powers. It is a really good book and brings the entire Cosmere together in a way I wasn’t expecting.

I remember tweeting about some things in this book about the way it pulls the Cosmere together and later realized they were spoilers and deleted it.

I usually have some sort of sour candy with me like those Airhead Xtremes. But, I also love sour patch peaches and watermelons.

Well, I don’t really reread books, but I like to try out more Christmas books this time of year.

Every time I start one of these books, I cannot wait to get to the end. They are so addictive! I’m sure y’all know by now how much I love them as I talk about them all the time.

I cannot think of a better example of a dysfunctional family I read this year than the royal one. I mean, they literally told Harry he was the spare child from a very young age.

I mentioned this is last week’s tag, but it would have to be splatter punk. I cannot read any type of horror and that is the worst of the worst. Also, it seems that the authors of the genre are the ones who behave the worst when it comes to reviewers.

This book was crazy! It’s also only 70 pages and I could not help but to finish it in one go. A lot of people do not like this book because of how unhinged it is, but I loved that about it.

This is a romance between a woman and a door, in the perspective of the door. There is a whole genre of books like this, as I have found out since reading. I don’t think I would read more of them, but I really enjoyed this book.
