Hello readers! I have been on KU now for almost 2 months and I thought I’d share with you all some of the books on my KU TBR so far. If you want to read more indie authors, Kindle Unlimited is a great place to go.
Probably 90% of these will romances of various different subgenres, but I have some other ones here. I was going to do just one post, but I didn’t realize how much my TBR on there has grown, so we are going to have to do a few of these.
Do you use Kindle Unlimited? I wanted to try it for a while and went for it when I saw an AD on Instagram for two free months. I couldn’t pass up two whole months for free!

This is the only book of John Marrs’ that is on KU. It isn’t often that we see traditionally published authors on there, so I’m excited. I also was wanting to read this! It was Marrs’ book from last year and it was never on Libby for me.
Mia and Finn are renovating their dream home. But they find a chilling message in the house: I WILL SAVE THEM FROM THE ATTIC. Investigating further, they uncover a disturbing past. As they try to move on, Mia becomes obsessed with the house’s dark secrets. Her fixation strains her relationship with Finn. Secrets unravel, revealing a terrifying danger. Mia will do anything to protect her family, but is it too late?

Naomi was running away from her wedding. She went to Knockemout, a rough town in Virginia, to help her twin sister. But her sister took her car and money, leaving Naomi with a surprise: a niece she didn’t know she had. Now Naomi is stuck in town with no car, no job, and an 11-year-old to take care of. Knox, a man from town, decides to help her. But as they navigate through trouble, it becomes dangerous.
I actually was interested in this book before I joined Booktok, but it has increased my interest. I am reading this either later this month or in October for a post I’m planning either in late November or early December. I won’t say much more, but I’m really excited for it!

I follow this author on both IG and Booktok. She is always posting videos of herself dancing and seems really fun.
Her debut book from last year, Hickory Dickory Death, and her upcoming release, Sleigh Belle, have both made it to my TBR. I want to read Sleigh Belle the most cos it’s a Christmas book and I LOVE those.
Hickory Dickory Death: In Victorian Era England, five individuals grieving their losses are approached by a mysterious woman named Persephone. She gives them advice and a box containing jewelry with a hidden secret. The recipients are offered a chance to seek revenge and escape their sorrow. They must confront their own personal quests in order to right the wrongs that have affected their souls.
Sleigh Belle: Belle Winters, a New York event planner, returns to her hometown in Vermont and discovers that Frost Manor, a beloved Christmas landmark, is being sold. She is determined to save the manor and find a suitable location for the charity Christmas Gala. As Belle works towards her goal, she finds herself falling for Jake, the current owner of Frost Manor.

This author is one that got her books temporarily removed from KU because people were pirating it online. Please don’t do that, at least not to indie authors! I’ve heard so many good things about this series and I can’t wait to try it.
In my previous response, I shared a personal reflection on growing up with a misguided belief in sacrificing for love. The twisted fairy tale I lived through involved secrets and hidden truths, ultimately leading to a devastating outcome for all involved. This experience taught me the difference between fiction and reality, and how we often don’t realize the significance of our own love stories until they’ve passed us by.

All I know about this series is it’s a sports romance AND a mafia romance. Luna Mason is a decently popular romance author, so I added her to the list.
Keller, a former underground street fighter turned world heavyweight boxing champion, finds himself trapped in the clutches of the mafia. His chance at freedom lies in a deal to unify his belts, but his path takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a captivating British woman. Their dangerous connection raises the question of whether love can withstand the unveiling of dark secrets and the battle against inner demons.
Sienna is a recently single woman who has given up on dating in New York. However, everything changes when she meets someone who tries to hide his true identity. Despite the danger, Sienna must decide if she is willing to fight for love and a happy ending.

In a war-torn kingdom, an orphaned woman named Duna becomes a formidable warrior dedicated to protecting her homeland. However, her resolve is tested when she crosses paths with a seductive and dangerous general, who is bound to another woman. As they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped princess, their forbidden attraction intensifies, revealing an ancient secret that could reshape nations and determine their ultimate fate. The question remains: Who will succumb first to the perils of love and power?

Layala, a hidden and vengeful woman, prepares to confront the wicked High Elf King Thane who aims to capture her as his powerful mate. However, she discovers a secret that makes it impossible to harm him, and a forbidden love begins to blossom. This romantic story is inspired by Hades & Persephone, The Lord of the Rings, and Norse mythology, promising to captivate readers from beginning to end.

Gemma had a plan. When hiding from dangerous people, getting involved with Declan McBride, also known as the King of Vegas, isn’t part of the plan. Running from one monster to another would be my luck. Just because he looks good doesn’t make him any less of a bad person. Right?
Blood stains Declan’s hands and soul. He has always been prepared for the worst, but Gemma De Luca, with her haunted look and tempting body, brings a new kind of danger to his life. Now, a battle is on his doorstep, and he won’t let it defeat him. He plans to present Gemma with the hearts of her enemies. To do that, he must ensure she can’t escape him.

The Jewels of January, set in 1991 Austin, Texas, a self-assured bartender forms a covert friendship with an enigmatic stripper named Jewels. As their paths cross, they navigate personal struggles, suspicions, and the quest for happiness. This edgy women’s romantic fiction by Julia Heart combines wit, intrigue, and introspection on real-life issues.
I am mutuals with this author on Booktok and I just added this to the TBR because of that .she does a lot of giveaways of her book, but I’d rather read it on KU where she can make a bit of money from it.

In this heartfelt story, Mia Davis, a relationship advice columnist, reunites with her family after two years of silence. As she attends her brother’s wedding, she confronts unresolved issues, reconnects with an ex-love, and realizes the difficulty of forgiveness. Mia must navigate complex emotions, make choices between past and present loves, and find a way to heal fractured relationships before returning to her life in New York.
I found this author when she was looking for ARC readers for book 3 in this series. I still share ARC videos on my Tik Tok stories every day and IG stories most days. When I saw that, I decided to add book one to my KU TBR.

I added this book to the TBR because I am ARC reading this authors next book. I have been following her for a while now and I just want to see her do well.
I should be getting the ARC of her next book any day now in the mail! It’ll be the first time I received an ARC I actually asked for in the mail.
