Tell Me Something Tuesday: New to Me Authors

Hello readers! Today’s post is about authors I’ve discovered this year. I’m interpreting it as authors that are either new favorites or potential new favorites. I have discovered a few new authors this year that I think I could love!

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by That’s What I’m Talking About. Each week there is a prompt to talk about. If you would like to participate, you need to fill out this Google Form, and the prompts will be sent to your email bimonthly.

This Weeks Topic: New to me authors: who have you discovered this year?

I remember this being a question on the Mid Year Freak Out Tag and I picked Adiba Jaigirdar. This was my first book by her and I really think she could be a potential favorite, despite the fact that I don’t read YA much anymore.

This was such a cute story! There is food, a food competition, and a love triangle. That is the perfect mix for me. I LOVE the love triangle trope.

Fawn and Foe is the only book I’ve read by Chrissy Nicole so far, but I think she could be a potential favorite. I just love her storytelling and her characters. It may be bold to assume this from authors I’ve only read once, but I’m hopeful!

I’m going to have to read through all these authors backlog next year to see!

The last one will have to be Rebecca Kenney. I have read more than one book by her! She has a very large backlist, though.

I love Rebecca Kenney’s characters so much. Her stories are character driven, but also have a ton of action as well. They are spicy as a bonus and retellings of things I haven’t read before (other than Alice and Wonderland).

Her books are spicy, have plenty of action, and are a bit chaotic and I love them.

  1. I remember enjoying The Henna Wars and didn’t realize The Dos and Donuts of Love was by that author. Makes me excited to pick that one up as I thought it did look cute.
