Hello readers! Today’s post is some new releases I’m excited for this Autumn/Fall. I don’t have many from big publishers, but I have quite a few from indie authors I cannot wait to get to!
What book are you looking forward to for fall? Most of the books by the big publisher that I am interested in have come out already.
September 30th
I almost requested this book as an ARC, but I got on the page and it has BDSM. I just know I don’t always love BDSM in books. I don’t love the dom/sub thing where the dom is telling everyone what to do. I get tired of them talking! Does anyone else feel this way? I do think I will like this book, but I didn’t want to risk it.

I know it’s a spicy why choose romance with vampires, so I think I’ll enjoy it. Also, the 2nd and 3rd books are also coming out this year, so it won’t be a long time waiting for the rest of the series. AND, they will all be on KU!

Calderon Heir is a why choose mafia romance by a Cuban, autustic author with ADHD. This author is also demi, which I think is interesting because I am all those things (except Cuban) as well. I am very, very white.

I am just in the mood for some Christmas romances lately! I have also never read Tessa Bailey before, so I hope this is one of her best.

I have an ARC of this one and I just know it’s going to be amazing. It’s lovers to enemies with betrayal and forced marriage. She said it isn’t one of those fantasy romances with a happily ever after, which means I am preparing for emotional devastation.
October 10th
This is Alechia Dow’s 3rd book to come out this year, I think. I have yet to read any of her 2023 releases, though! This is her middle grade debit and I’m so excited to get to it. I haven’t been in a middle grade mood lately, but I will eventually be in one.
Wini’s family runs a bakery, but they’re struggling due to high prices of magical ingredients. To save their business, Wini tries a spell to gather a crucial ingredient, but it goes wrong. Now the town is in danger and they’re being investigated. Kal and her dad have always been together, but when her long-lost grandfather reappears, things get complicated. Wini and Kal, both outcasts, become friends and join forces to fix the magic problem in their town and maybe even help their dads find love.

I made a deal with my Shadow and cursed the Solar King. I was caught, but the youngest Solar Prince offered me safety. Now, I am beholden to him. However, I still desire my own Terra throne and will do whatever it takes to reclaim it. Even if it means betraying the prince and the vampire I have come to love. But when the darkness inside me grows stronger, I must decide whether to resist it or embrace it.
I will be getting this book in a few weeks as an ARC, so maybe I’m biased here. However, the reason I requested it is because it’s a spicy romance with a NB main character. I am really excited to read a book like that! It’s also why choose. I can’t remember if it was MMFNB or FFMNB. It also has friends to enemies to lovers, chosen family, plus size MC, Non binary MC, and CNC.
November 7th
Iron Flame is the sequel to Four Wing. I will absolutely be getting my hands on this ASAP! I am already in line to get it on Libby. I am 113th in line, BUT, my library has already ordered 100 copies.
Will you guys be picking this up later this year? I really want to buy this one and Fourth Wing when this comes out. I know Fourth Wing has been hard to get ahold of.
