Hello readers! Today’s post is all about books I want to read this autumn. I’m really not sure if that is supposed to mean new releases or just in general, but I’m going to do a a general post. I am still curating my list for Autumn New releases and that post will be out in a week or so. I really don’t have many to look forward to!
I know I’m American, and we say fall, but autumn is such a pretty word. Do you say autumn or fall where your from? I say fall, but I always use autumn in my posts.

ACOSF is high on my priority list this fall. I’ve been anticipating this release for a long time and even waited for the paperback to come out so I can buy one to match the other books I own.
I have read a few chapters in this book already, but I need to finish it before the end of the year!
Iron Flame is the sequel to Fourth Wing. I enjoyed reading it last month and would love to read more. Can you believe both books one and two come out in the same year? Usually we only see that from indie authors.
Are you picking Fourth Wing or the sequel up this autumn? It is a whopping 640 pages!
End of Watch is the third book in the Bill Hodges trilogy. I started it in early July and just wasn’t feeling it. I decided to DNF it for the time and come back to it later this year.
I am really enjoying this trilogy, I just have to make myself pick up this last book and just read it.
I received an ARC of Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands this month and I need to read it this fall. It comes out early in January, if you are interested.
Everyone I have seen review it that got an ARC as well has loved this book more than the previous one. I loved the first book. It was cottagecore, but creepy as well. It really utilizes the stories of fae that are sinister.
PLUS, I have to see what will happen with the romance!
All I know about this is that it’s about a man who gets stuck inside a whale. It’s a scifi horror and I’m so excited for it.
I am slowly waiting on Libby to get this and I cannot wait to read it once I do! I haven’t read enough scifi horror in my time as a reader. I’m hoping it has the same vibes as Into the Drowning Deep.
