Hello readers! It’s time for another tag. I have curated a list of tags so long that I can do one every survey for almost a year without running out. There are more tags in the book community than I ever thought.
This time, I know who the creator is! The A to Z Bookish Survey Tag was created by Perpetual Page Turner. The last two weeks I haven’t been able to find a creator for the tags I was doing.

Author you’ve read the most from:
Tite Kubo. I have read 37 books in the Bleach series and that isn’t even the whole series. I would like to finish it one of these days!
I made a post in December of my Most Read Authors if you are interested in seeing the others!
Best Sequel Ever:
How can I pick just one?

Currently Reading:

I’m writing this a little bit in advance, but I should still be reading Words of Radiance by the time this goes up! I’ll be making my way through this for for a long while.
Drink of Choice While Reading:
I’ve been a lifelong Dr. Pepper lover and that’ll never change!
E-reader or phyiscal?
I would say physical for sure. I like reading ebooks, but there is nothing like the feeling of a physical book in my hands. Do you smell your books? I love the smell of books!
Fictional character you probably would have actually dated in high school:
Maybe this is because I’ve been watching Naruto Shippuden lately so this character is on my mind. I would say Sasuke Uchiha. Like, Sasuke from the original. I LOVED Sasuke when I was in middle school and honestly dated some guys that were just down right mean to me. The more I watch Shippuden, the more I realized how much I don’t like him. However, child me was obsessed!
Glad you gave this book a chance:

I was hesitant of this one as it is a slasher and I haven’t enjoyed a slasher I’ve read before. However, I really loved this one. I know it’s getting a lot of bad reviews, but for me it was perfect!
Can I just defend the ending for a minute? Many people are saying the ending isn’t very good, but I think the point was that it’s supposed to mimic a cliche in a slasher movie. Just because something is a cliche doesn’t mean it’s inherently bad!
Hidden gem book:

I went on Goodreads and checked what book I’ve read this year that doesn’t have very many reviews. The Dos and Donuts of Love just over 1000 reviews! This is such a cute YA foodie romance that has a 4.03 rating on Goodreads.
Important moment in your reading life:

When I read Lisey’s Story for the first time at 12 and realized that I actually can enjoy reading!
There is way too much restriction on reading in school. I understand keeping inappropriate content from kids, but the way they make you read withing your grade level isn’t good. I didn’t relate to kids my age just about ever. When you are a low needs autistic, child you feel so much more mature than other kids. I needed a book that matched my interests and I loved horror movies.
Just finished:
I just finished the Mindf❤ck series!
Kinds of books you won’t read:
There isn’t much I don’t enjoy in books. I would say space opera, aliens, historical romance and maybe westerns?
Longest book you’ve read:

Les Mis is 1,232 pages total. I read it nonstop for 12 days and even used the audiobook to help me get through. It was a good book and a favorite!
However, it is a dense book that takes place over Jean Valjean’s entire life. This was also the last gift my Dad gave me before he died. I would’ve been devistated if I hated it!
Major book hangover because of:

All I’m gonna say is the ending really hit me hard. I’m not going to say if that is a negative or positive feeling. This was such a powerful story following a family of a person who went missing many years before and they think they see her on TV. They journey to NY to find the person they saw on TV because they are that sure.
Number of bookcases you own:
I own two with three shelves each and then I have 7 shelves on my wall. The shelves are kind of a build in bookshelf, but not completely.
One book you have read muliple times:
I don’t reread books often, but one book I have read probably 10 times is A Christmas Carol. I used to read it every year in my early 20’s and teens. It’s just a phenomenal story in book form and in movie form.
Preferred place to read:
I prefer to read in my bed. Whether that is with audiobooks or a physical book. I do sometimes read in my desk chair, but my new bed is just so comfy!
Quote that inspires you gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
I love this quote so much that I want it tattooed. I have two tattoos and I honestly would love to have another very soon. My next tattoo wont be this quote specifically, but I want to get it one day.

BTW this quote is from House of Earth and Blood.
Reading regret:
Taking so long to get out of my comfort zone! I only started reading thrillers in 2020/21 and only started reading scifi in 2022. I convinced myself that I hated those genres for so long knowing I hadn’t read from them before.
Series you started and need to finish (all books are out in series):
I have to say Mistborn Era 2. All 4 books are out and I own them, but I have only read 2 of them. These books are so tiny for Sanderson books, so there isn’t any sort of excuse!
Three of your all-time favorite books:

Unapoligetic fangirl for:
SJM books!
Very excited for this release more than all the others:

The next book in the wayward children series comes out in January 2024 and I can’t wait for that time to get here. All the odd numbered books follow a story-line and I can’t wait to see where the story goes.
Additionally, this cover has actual dinosaurs on it. Are we visiting a world of dinosaurs? That sounds really cool!
Worst bookish habit:
Putting books on hold on Libby and continually clicking the button for the book to skip me. I want to read the book, just not right at this second!
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

My 2nd shelf is my contemporary shelf. This Kinsella book was my 2nd book I ever read by her and follows a woman who loses her chance of becoming a partner at the firm she works at. She then accidentally happens upon a live in maid job.
This was one of the first romance books I read and really enjoyed. I now love romance as a genre, but back then I thought I didn’t.
Your latest book purchase:
Oh geez, I’m not even sure. Looking back on my last haul, I think it was Starsight by Brandon Sanderson. I’m out here being in the middle of too many of his series at once.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
That would be Fourth Wing. It’s a really long audiobook and I wanted to get a certain part through before I go to bed. It’s okay though cos my husband works very late, so I’m up until 3 AM sometimes waiting for him to get home.
