This weeks topic: Which plot twist is your favorite?
My favorite plot twist is a hard one because it is a big spoiler. Because of this, I can’t really ask for or recommend books or movies with this twist. It wouldn’t be the same knowing the twist was coming, so I just kind of have to happen upon them as I go.
The twist is when the main character was dead or in purgatory the whole time. This is such a great twist. I love when we are on a journey with the MC, usually stuck in their house or something, and we find out with them that they are dead or stuck somewhere like purgatory.
Almost as good is the plot twist where the MC finds out they are working for the villain of the story! It’s similar, but not exactly the same. When the MC is working hard because they are told they are saving lives, only to find out they are actually killing people. The government has created some sort of illusion so they can’t know the truth.
Let me know if you also love this plot twist. I don’t hear a lot of people talk about it, probably because it is a spoiler.
