Hello readers! First of all, I want to say thank you! I reached 200 followers this month. It has been so fun doing this these past few years and I’m happy to have reached 200 before my 3 year anniversary this August. Well, technically I’ve only been on WordPress for less time than that, but I did start in August on my original blog.
As I was writing last weeks Sunday Post, I had this idea to make a weekly post about books coming out that week. I decided to name it New Release Saturday. This wasn’t easy, but I have been all over the internet and I think I’ve found quite a few new releases to talk about. My goal is to have 10 or more each week, but I know some weeks might be slow in the publishing world.

This one follows Maggie (48) and Aiden (50). When Maggie’s son leaves for college, they make a deal together that they’ll try to be more social.
She joins an online game where she meets Aiden. He is living at home with his mom acting as her caretaker.
Once they finally meet in person, they realize their personalities are quite different. One is grumpy and the other isn’t. Can they make it work despite not be as compatible as they were online?

This book IS based on the song Goodbye Earl. I LOVED that song as a kid and wanted to read this as soon as I saw the title. Let me know in the comments if you remember that song!
This story follows 4 friends in two timelines.
In 2004, Rosemarie, Ada, Caroline, and Kasey are reaching the end of high school and are exploring what they will do for the rest of their lives.
In 2019, Kasey has returned to her hometown for a wedding. When she realizes one of her high school best friends is in danger, she is forced to face what happened to her 15 years before.

Adult Gothic Horror
This one follows Orla. Her husband buys an old Georgian house for them to move into as their old house is feeling cramped. Orla is in the house alone a lot with only her son and starts to hear voices and see things moving on their own. Her son also makes an imaginary friend that doesn’t seem so imaginary.
Four decades earlier, we also follow Lydia, who moves into the mansion as a nanny. She also notices a presence in the home and senses it has bad intentions for the kids she is watching over.
Are these two women imagining things or is there something sinister going on within the walls?
Adult Historical Mystery/Thriller
The House Keepers follows a woman who is suddenly let go from her housekeeping job and decides to enact revenge. She knows all about the family’s expensive items and uses this to help a group of women make a ton of money from them.
A member of the group is hired as the new housekeeper and acts as the inside man during a giant party in the home where the group will rob the family of everything they own.
Adult Historical Literary Fiction
Bob Comet is a retired librarian. One day he is walking around the local market and finds a lost elderly woman. Once he helps her back to the senior center she lives at, it inspires him to start volunteering there.
We then get to see many moments of his past trauma and how that effected his librarian job and his current life.
