Hello readers!! It’s that time of the week for a Sunday Post. I really am enjoying writing these! It gives me a chance to wrap up my week and begin anew.
The Sunday Post and the thumbnail I’m using were created by The Caffeinated Reader.
In The Sunday Post, you share news each week with your audience. This can be personal, book news, blog news, or anything else you want. Click the creator’s name for more details!
Personal Life
A few weeks ago, my husband got a new job. This week he got a promotion! He went from being a regular crew worker to now being a trainer. In a month or so, he is set to become a manager.
For me, I am sick. I don’t know what it is, but I hate being sick. Not because I feel awful, but because I find it so inconvenient. Does anyone else feel that way? I just can’t stand sickness.
On the Blog Last Week
Monday – 10 Summer New Releases I’m Excited For
Tuesday – Top 10 Tuesday: Books On My Summer TBR
Thursday – Reader Problems Book Tag
Friday – Let’s Talk Bookish: Bookish Cliches
Coming Up This Week
I have a post going out this week from Monday to Friday! On Monday, we have Down the TBR Shelf. On Tuesday, I am doing Tell Me Something Tuesday for the first time. Wednesday is my TBR for July. I only have 5 books on the TBR. I am not letting myself get too crazy with the TBR. I love making TBRs, but I also feel chained down by them sometimes. Thursday is the Never Have I Ever Book Tag. Lastly, Friday is a Let’s Talk Bookish post. It is a freebie this week, so I got to pick an old topic to talk about.
Reading Update

Maame follows this 25-year-old woman named Maddie. Even though she is in her mid-twenties, her life hasn’t started. She has been living at home taking care of her father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Her brother has been traveling the world and her mother is out of the country.
This is a coming of age story in some ways. She hasn’t had any real-life experience and is getting it all at once.
The thing is, I personally think she is autistic. I also had this mindset that the MC has that you don’t really have freewill. It wasn’t until I met my husband that I found out I can have personal preferences. That existance is awful, trust me. She also seems insufferable to be friends with and now I know how it felt for others to be around a person like that. It’s like knowing what you want, but in order to be liked, you will just do whatever makes you fit in. You don’t understand anything and most of your interactions with people is learned from watching others or Google.
On My Shelf This Week
At this moment, I only have Maame on Libby. On Hoopla, I have The Marriage Act by John Marrs. If I’m correct, this book is tied to The One.
What I Watched This Week
My husband has been working non-stop, but we managed to binge the new season of Black Mirror this week. Black Mirror is such a good show! We both love how this season is so different from previous ones. Mazey Day took a turn I was not expecting AT ALL.
On Friday, we started watching Naruto Shippuden. Despite being a Naruto fan since I was about 12, I haven’t finished Naruto Shippuden yet! My husband has read all the books and has watched more of it than I have. We want to get to Boruto because neither of us have watched it yet. I heard Boruto is ending soon and we haven’t even started it yet!
New Releases This Week
If your on mobile and can’t see my poll, let me know if you think I should make this section it’s own post. It would probably be on Saturdays and I would give a detailed descriptions of each book. I started adding polls to my posts a few days ago and then learned later those who are on their phones cannot see the polls.

Book Blogger Highlight
This week I saw a really good post about book banning. Sarah Collins Bookworm talks about reading Fahrenheit 451 and how that inspired a conversation on many different books being banned. I have thought about doing a banned books post for a long time, but just haven’t! Seriously, go check out her post if you haven’t!
I love checking out the top 10 banned books post each year. It comes out every April and I have tried to seek out the books I see on there. I never would’ve discovered Alex Gino, one of my favorite authors, if not for the banned books list for George/Melissa.
