Hello readers! I’m back with another Top Ten Tuesday post. These weekly posts are starting to become some of my favorite posts to make.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, you pick your top 10 of the topic provided.
What book are you most excited to get to this summer? Don’t be afraid to drop a link to your blog post of the same kind! I loved seeing what everyone else picked for last weeks topic!
This Weeks Topic: Books on My Summer 2023 to-Read List

I read Yellowface by the same author last month and now I’d like to read some of her other books. Its not like I wasn’t interested in her books before, but Yellowface has be excited to see what else she has written.
I like when books bring something from the real world and give it a twist. I just decided to try for Babel because its just one book and The Poppy War is three.

I have yet to read a slasher I like, but I’m still hopeful I’ll finally read one I do. You’re Not Supposed to Die Tonight follows Charity. She has this summer job at a camp where people play a game version of a film they love called Curse of Camp Mirror Lake.
The last weekend of the season, her co-workers start to disappear and the whole thing becomes real. Charity and her girlfriend Bezi have to work together to find who the killer is and why they are picking off the employees.
This book actually comes out the day this post is going out, so I will hopefully get it very soon!

I finally bought a copy of this book earlier this year and I’m ready to read it! I know I am 2 years late to the party, but I was waiting for the paperback to come out.
I am both excited and a bit hesitant with this story. Was anyone’s favorite character Nesta? I am not excited for her perspective, but I never know, SJM might just change my mind.

I haven’t read a Kinsella book since last year in September when I finished the Shopaholic series. I’m ready to read more of her books outside of that series! I didn’t let myself read outside the series until I finished it.
This one follows a couple who have been married for ten years when they decide to spice up their relationship with surprises to one another. As they decide to do this, well-kept secrets are revealed that threaten to destroy their relationship. Will their marriage survive? Well, I hope so as it is a romance.

I just recently read Mr Mercedes, the first book in the Bill Hodges trilogy, and I think I’m ready to go all in one this storyline. Mr. Mercedes follows an ex cop who is taunted by a killer he never caught while on duty. He makes it his life mission to catch the man before he hurts more people.
Now all these books have one thing in common, Holly. Holly is an autistic character who appears in all of these books and will be getting her own book this year. As an autistic person, I really love her character and want to see more of her by catching up this summer.

I have really been neglecting my King books, so I am also hoping to get to Billy Summers over the summer. This one is not connected to the previous ones.
All I know about this one is it follows a hit man who is trying to retire, but has one job left to do. In some way, this job goes very wrong.

This one follows a true crime podcaster Alix Summers who meets someone with the same birthday as her named Josie. She thinks this is just a coincidence, but they start running into one another more and more. Alix starts investigating into Josie’s life and uncovers some unbelievable secrets.
This is Jewell’s newest release coming out this summer and I’m super excited to get to it!
