Hello readers! We are here again with another Down the TBR Hole. I am feeling much better after that last round! This week, we are going back to doing only 10 books at a time.
If you’ve never heard of Down the TBR Hole before, you go through 5 to 10 books per post on your Want to Read shelf on Goodreads and purge all the ones you know you won’t be getting to anytime soon. If you want to see a more detailed version of how this works, check out Jody’s post. She is doing her Down the TBR Hole posts on Thursdays if you want to check those out!
Last time, we had 144 books left on my Goodreads Want to Read shelf, but it is currently sitting at 139. Here is a LINK to my previous installments if you would like to catch up!

If you have been here for a while, you will already know that Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors and none of her books will be leaving this list. I own Watching You and I hope to read in in July, but my plans never go exactly as I want them to.

I added this book back when I was trying to get into thrillers and I just added anything anyone suggested. I think this one is going to leave the Want to Read shelf. I never find myself thinking about it and if I read anything by this author, it will be Girl on the Train before anything else.
I have seen the movie for that one, but I don’t remember much about it, so I would start there.

I read the debut book by this author last year and I really want to get to this one, too. This one isn’t leaving as I 100% still want to read it!

I’m going to remove this one. Not because I don’t want to read it, cos I do, but because I want to reread the series. I read the 1st four books back in 2020. I don’t remember the 2nd book at all and I heard this one correlates to that one.
I don’t know if I slept through the audiobook of book two, but I can’t remember anything about it. I could just reread that one, but I think I’m going to reread the whole thing. Next time, I am going to read the physical books.

I always have that one book that goes on every TBR for around 6 months before I just read it and this book seems to be in the cycle this time.
I even bought this book right after it came out and still haven’t read it almost a year later. I’m not removing it from the list because I still want to read it one day.

This is a book I’m not sure I will love. I keep trying to get ahold of it but my library, Libby, and Hoopla don’t have it. I’m going to remove it for now. Mostly because I am worried it is the type of story I won’t love. I’ve heard there is a magical realism element to it and that makes me nervous. I might change my mind down the road, but I’m not sure.

I am going to remove this one, too. I am not sure where I heard of this book and I don’t know what it is about. I do know it is a fantasy series, but I already have too many of those at the top of my list including the next book we are going to talk about.

I’m going to start this series in 2021. I am just not going to allow myself to go into 2022 without having read at least the first book. I think I’m really going to love this book, so I just need to get to it.

I just bought this book this year and I really wanted to get to it in June, even though it wasn’t on the TBR, but I hit a 2nd round of that reading slump and didn’t read much at all.
When the mood hits again, I’m going to pick this up immediately. I had other books I needed to get to, so I put this off until those books put me in a slump. I’m not going to let that happen again.
Start: 139
End: 135
